We liked the remodeling you did giving the rooms a clean fresh look. A little paint goes a long way. The convenience of the breakfast right there at the hotel. Being close to Briarwood Shopping center.
Catching a cab nearby would be a great help to us. My husband and I are pushing 80. We had a doctor’s appointment at U of M hospital. I’m the one who driving all the time now. And I was very nervous to drive to the hospital. I tried making arrangements for taxi pick up before we left home but the cab never showed up.☹️so for us a convenient cab stand would be nice.

Staff was so friendly and kind.
The cost was about 3x normal price because it was graduation weekend at U of Michigan

The hotel was clean. The room as clean and accommodating.
The desk staff had a "please don't bother me" attitude. On our day of checkout, the guy working the desk didn't even acknowledge us or ask us "how can I help you" when we approached the desk to check out. He just looked at us and stared with a look that was interpreted as saying "what do you want and why are you bothering me?!?", waiting for us to talk first. The girls on the night before were the same .... they never said "can I help you" or any thing to me or my daughter .... just looked up and waited for us to speak first. They don't dress very professional as well. Jeans and a hoody??? I expect more from Hilton. The only employee who acted like a Hilton type employee - who showed any respect and training skills - was the bartender, who also was the waitress the next morning at breakfast. She did her job well, and with kindness and respect. I left with this feeling - all these people are college students who have better places to be and can't wait until their shift is done! Hilton is NOT well represented with these workers.
