The staff was really great and helpful
The town of childress is hell on earth, seedy game rooms, drugs and prostitution, crooked tow truck drives, ugly all around, even the horses are ugly. Thank God I had a room, I hit a deer and was traveling through, worst place to get stuck ever. Not safe for a woman. The hotel felt safe tho.

Friendly office staff. Good breakfast with several options. Room was quiet. Beds were comfortable.
The property was going through renovations so I’m sure things were in the process of being fixed. The shower rod was bent or installed wrong because the shower curtain would not stay shut. The bathroom door was falling apart and stuck when closed all the way. There was food left on the floor from previous renters. Flies and spider in the room.

The staff was amazing to me and especially my two young children.
The pool was closed and had been for months before we booked our stay.

Stayed on the way back to Houston with my family , It was a clean place to sleep
It seems there are some days centers being built nearby therefore almost all hotels near this town are fully booked and they are taking advantage of the situation and charging a premium price and it isn't worth it unless you don't have a choice.
