The Hacienda is very clean, quiet, convenient, and a great value. The minifridge and ice maker are very helpful when headed out for a camping trip. Those qualities make up for the lack of ambience.
We'd stay here again when passing through Alturas, though if we were staying longer we might want a different place.
Unfortunately, the beds aren't very comfortable.
It's not aesthetically pleasing, with exposed cords and unlovely decor in the rooms. But at this rate we don't expect perfection.

This is an old motel, kind of shabby on the outside, but clean, quiet and comfortable inside. Bed and shower were great.
Was charged an extra $3 for using a credit card.
