Sufficient

Nice young couple working hard to upgrade recently purchased property and bring revitalization. I would suggest possibly lowering price to better represent current condition

It was a good spot to go out from as a hub as we visited the Black Hills.

New people are friendly. They are trying and wish them and the new owners. Best of Luck

Carpet was stained from prior pet stay and had been treated with a carpet fresh. No coffee but understand situation.

It was quiet and off the main thoroughfare. It's a couple blocks off the main street located in a neighborhood. You could probably walk easily to shop and browse.

It's an older motel. Right inside the door of our room the carpet was torn away from threshold. The fire alarm wasn't functional.

cold dirty noisy no staff

Just that we wanted to stay in Spearfish & it was relatively inexpensive

Got there & no staff….. made call to find where to get key in a “lock box”…. nothing about where to put key when done…. walked into room & whoever had stayed before put door knob thru wall & that wasn’t fixed…. bathrooms were dirty…. heater couldn’t keep up with mild winter temps…. noisy neighbors in other rooms fighting between walls…. had to call dispatch because someone stated they were gonna shoot the other if they didn’t shut up….. just was the most lackluster room for what was paid & no service on site…. NOT GOOD AT ALL

it was clean, room smelled good, the bed was so snuggly and we loved the pillows. it was quiet. you couldn’t hear no traffic and people talking. we wi definitely stay again!

No front desk staff/breakfast. Water was scalding.

Comfortable and clean.

Front desk left numbers to call if they were not there. Problem was they didn’t answer them. No breakfast available and lobby doors locked with the note on the door with numbers. Water got so scalding hot. My hand literally got red welts. Temperature gage needs to be adjusted on the water heater. I’m just glad one of my kids didn’t try taking a shower first.

Pre Devils Tower

The managers Larry and Monica are great! Hard working couple maintaining a nIce and quiet location outside downtown Spearfish. Check in/out process was the smoothest on our vacation yet. Best AC and quality of towels. Best value if you are enroute to Devils Tower the next morning!

Nothing!

The property was run down and dirty. The decking and railings were rotted and falling down. The lobby smelled bad and looked dirty. We asked where the laundry was and the female clerk said, “oh, we don’t have a laundry anymore, we’ve been trying to get an electrician out here fir a couple of years.” We asked to see our rooms and the male clerk took us, opened the door and there were still people in the room. There were bugs crawling on the inside of the window of the unit he was going to give to us. The female clerk says those were just box elder bugs snd they just can’t get rid of them. I told the clerk this was nothing like the pictures on the website. He said, “well the pictures are put in to make the place look good!” The pictures were probably taken when the property was new. We told them we wouldn’t be able to stay there. It was nothing like the photos snd we were depending on doing laundry. We left and called Booking.com to report this and ask for a full refund due to the misrepresentation of this property.

It's bad nobody answered the phone my credit card got charged twice the same amount nobody answered the phone to fix I will open dispute with my credit card company I never stay again in that place 😒

Had a wonderful time at Mt. Rushmore!!!

The staff was extremely helpful. The bed was just what I needed.

Would have been better if the company I booked with had done it's job. The hotel staff had to call the booking company to clear everything up.

When we arrived the doors were locked. Two numbers were provided to call if customers needed assistance. After calling about 20 times a young person finally answered and said that they needed to get their mom. No mom ever came to the phone. We are extremely frustrated and unsatisfied! We were charged $125.19 to book the room and were refunded $112.50 so we paid $12.69 for this miserable experience.

I won’t stay again.

Wasn’t offered breakfast. Rooms were very sketchy and the doors didn’t close and you were constantly exposed to the outside elements. Room smelled terrible.

Eric was the best hotel host around!

I must say Eric was the host and he was a true pleasure. It’s people like Eric that makes staying at hotels over top Airbnb a better true genuine feel. He was Respect full and an expert in understanding one’s nature of life. I highly recommend anyone stay at this hotel if you would like an amazing host. Along with a comfortable stay at the best price around!
