Very comfortable and modern looking.

The horrible smell of chlorine at the pool - you could not stay there without getting a head ache. Unfriendly staff. Such a long way to the reception from the room - and very long line at check out.

I liked that the front desk person checked us in early. She let me know my buffet was included and the hours of the restaurant and where it was located. She also let me know that there is an indoor swimming pool and family game room just above the lobby. Enjoyed that all everything was a walk away….. restaurants, gas station, grocery store and novelty stores.

We stayed there 3 nights and no one was to enter our room u til we closed but room service did clean the room. I know that isn’t horrible but all of our belongings were out and I would have put everything away if I would have known someone would be entering the room

Stayed 3 nights. Good place if you are visiting Yellowstone. Breakfast is good but you need to check if it is buffet or à la carte. Premises are new and clean. Have all facilities including gym.

- Breakfast ends too early - we wanted a room with detachable shower but was not available - room is quite small (if compared to picture) - high price for such type of accommodation

The room was very clean and reasonably comfortable, and located within a few blocks of several restaurants. West Yellowstone is a very small town, so every hotel is close to everything, including the western entrance to Yellowstone Park. We loved the HydroMassage chairs in the 24-hour fitness room, and appreciated the access to free washers/dryers (we did have to buy detergent/fabric softener, but it was very reasonable).

Upon checkin, another guest was at the front desk, asking to be moved to another room b/c the a/c wasn't working in her room. The desk clerk refused to make eye contact, and stated that "we're overbooked, and don't have any other rooms available" and that she could not make any change to the room rate, etc. She finally found another room for the guest, but still wouldn't even make eye contact with her. While insistent, the guest was being very polite and reasonable, and thanked the clerk for resolving the situation. After she walked away, I asked the clerk how her day was going, and she started telling me how distressed she was - that people had been yelling at her all day, and that she felt like crying. Just then, a maintenance guy walked in. She turned her attention to him, and said, "room XXX doesn't have hot water, and the a/c in room XXX isn't working, and we're overbooked." He got very agitated and said - in front of me - "That building just needs to burn to the ground. I can't keep doing this for $17/hour." I was shocked. She finished checking me in, and told her that I hoped the rest of her day went better. Issues we experienced: One of the reasons we chose this property was because they listed a hot tub/spa as one of their amenities. We were notified 3 days before our stay that they were closing the pool/spa for renovation - much too late to book another property, and no adjustment was made to our rate. They had to have known well in advance that they these amenities would not be available. Our a/c didn't work very well, and kept shutting off before reaching the thermostat setting. The water pressure was quite low at times, and the showers were warm, but never really hot. We were also in a room right next the elevator, staircase and ice machine, so starting at around 4:30 or 5 in the morning, we were awakened by loud noises.
