About a mile off of I 45, which makes it more quiet and peaceful.
Minor: no lighting near the beds, which is a bit dark and depressing.

Very quiet spot, a hidden gem. I hate to say too many good things because then it will stay booked and i will not be able to book a room. But really, nice clean room, friendly owners just like motels used to be, owner operated so they care and were very respectful
Only thing I didn’t like was I was only able to stay one night

The buildings are well built, and by design well isolated from neighbors. This meant a quiet night's sleep even next to a major road. Parking was ample, and the staff was efficient and composed even with my late-night arrival. They were also very responsive to emailed communications.
There were minor details like a chair which has a cushion in need of cleaning; the toilet paper had previously been wet to a shallow depth and mold had grown on it; and one pillowcase probably needed a touch-up with some hydrogen peroxide. None of these were show-stoppers for me, though.
