Apartment perfect, stairs and parking issues were not mentioned.

The apartment layout and the hi-tech toilet.

There was no suitable after hours parking. We were told to park in an area of lots. Every lot had signs saying no parking between certain late night hours. We drove around and found a municipal lot that was free for 48 hours. Fortunately no one was handicapped.

This place was very central. It is located in the downtown area and close to everything. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

I nice experience but wouldn't do it again in winter.

The bed was firm, the internet worked and in was clean.

Climbing several narrow steps up to the third floor was a little tough. It is was bitterly cold and windy cold, so having access from behind-the-building parking was challenging. Probably not an issue in warmer weather. Also, old windows were not so great at keeping cold out, especially in coat room, but the heater worked well.

Quiet and comfortable space in downtown Decorah.

quiet. right on the Main Street of downtown Decorah. Beds in unit 3 were nice and firm and very comfortable.

There’s a window unit for both heating and cooling and the unit blows on the bed right next to it. That person had a hard time sleeping and felt their nose was all dried out from the constant blowing. There are quite a few stairs (and no elevator) to get up so if you have bad knees it would be hard. Overnight parking is not allowed along the street right in front of the apartment. You have to park in the alley behind the building and walk around to the front to access unit 3. There was a miscommunication and we had to change units. The owner was very apologetic and did her best to correct things. In spite of some of the drawbacks, I would stay there again. The price point is also good.

Easy check in. Hosts sent directions.

Great location but a little noisy Saturday night. The steps are VERY steep and the pillows are like rocks. Smells from the restaurant were not terrible past the 2nd floor. Right across the street from the sports bar

Very cozy and nice place at a reasonable price!!

We were in the third floor so alot of steps but they were ok. The parking is in the back and had to walk down the alley and around couple buildings to get to the front to go in which is ok but it's was raining when we were there.

Unclear as to where the back entrance was. We saw someone come out of door 2 and so we didn't think it was the way in even though we had rented #2.

Girls trip

We really liked the location. It was perfect for shopping.

Parking, the spots in the back were pretty small, so we parked on the side street, not realizing we had to move from 3am-6am, so we recieved a parking ticket. The room was freezing when we got there. It took until about 1am before we felt warm and the heater was set at 85! The coffee cups were dirty. The beds were very firm!

Lots of room and space; very clean; provided a hairdryer and some toiletries; good spot for parking in the back

Stay in Decorah

My friends and I LOVED the location!

Parking was tricky. We ended up having to park three blocks away in a no tow zone.

Great Location and Value

Great location downtown and with walking distance to really everything. Surprisingly slept 7 people for a great price.

Air flow for especially the back two rooms is poor or nonexistent. Even with the temp of the apartment low the 2 back rooms were very warm and made it difficult to sleep. One guest is a home appraiser in IL and is worried you might have mold developing in the back rooms. Also, parking situation was misleading. On Booking.com it says parking is available. Later it said there was 1 spot available only for an apartment for 7 people. Then the morning of we were texted the code and informed their was no parking and told to park at a lot with tow signs. We also had to call when we got there because we weren’t told which apartment number ours was. Overall was a good apartment for the cost and location but the miscommunication added to the stress when we got there.

Quiet and convenient!

It’s location on the Main Street through downtown made it really convenient. It reminded me of an apartment in Europe. very cute! nice and quiet. beds on the firm side.

Pretty bright at night from the street lights. Black out curtains would help.

No emergency exit, lots of steps to the third floor accomodations.

Comfortable stay!

It was more than a room, it was a small apartment for the price of a room and it was right downtown. It was quiet, spacious and clean and had a kitchen with everything we needed for morning breakfast. Very happy and would recommend to others!

There are stairs to climb but that was not a problem for us at all.

Great amenities at a great price

Lots of space for the price. I was really there only to sleep. Lots of bonuses in the apartment - washing machine & dryer, dishwasher, 2 big screen TV’s.Very clean. overall a great experience I would stay there again. Appreciated the well lit staircase as I came back after dark.

The info talked about WiFi. I found the network but not the password to use it. Couldn’t get ceiling fan in bedroom to work. Outside handrail wood was getting rough.

Clean and great location. Communication and WiFi not great

Cuter place and it’s in a great location!

The wife is terrible... not enough to watch TV. Also emailed the place with a question about check in and they never responded.
