Super 8 by Wyndham Decorah

The evening staff was very warm and friendly. Answered my questions about wherfe to eat.

I'm a windows person. Need to clean the windows.

I thought the room was very clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were very small but served our needs quite well. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent. We were overall very pleased!

No complaints.

It was really easy to get to downtown Decorah from my motel.

A few items in my room needed repair. A handle on one drawer had a loose screw. The plug in the bathtub seemed to not be fastened down. I needed a stool plunger, but one wasn't in my room, so I had to find a staff person to get one.

Did not eat any breakfast.

When I first checked in and went to use the restroom, I was greeted by a spider on the floor. Good thing I am not afraid of spiders. I chose not to say anything, didn’t want to change rooms or have the rm smell like bug spray. (I liked the first floor room) The bed was so high I had a VERY HARD TIME getting into the bed . I wondered if they had a step stool for us short people who have had joint replacements. I do realize it is easier for staff with a high bed.
