The area only has a few hotels. This one is the best maintained for the lowest corresponding price. Hotel chains in the area have lowered their prices lately, but the upgrade in room conditions isn’t really worth that, and some of them are further out from downtown, making them less convenient.

Run of the mill motel run by a friendly family. Good location right by the highway.
My first room was full of dead bugs. They did give me a clean room when I asked for it. There were a lot of bugs around as we hit summer so I do understand how they could get inside.

This is an older property that has been refurbished. Rooms are large - bed was comfortable - coffee maker in room did not work. Goliad is a small town and you don;t have many options. Wouldn't spend a week there, but for the price, one night was good.
