I love how amazing the staff was. We will never forget how kind they were. We needed our cooler cleaned and without hesitation the staff washed and dried the cooler with no extra charge. We will never forget this place and hope to travel there again soon

The a/c worked great and it was a hotter weekend than I expected for September. I appreciated the full size refrigerator and microwave since I'm a health food nut and usually don't eat out at restaurants. There was a handy 7-Eleven right across the street for morning coffee, etc. It's an older motel, but everything worked well and was clean. The biggest compliment I want to give is regarding the owner, Lee. He is a one man band (does EVERYTHING) and a lovely human being. I witnessed him helping an elderly man get dressed. Kindness matters. I would recommend people stay at Ute Motel to help out a small businessman who cares about his guests. I know some people specifically want to stay in Colorado Springs (not Fountain) but the drive is really easy. It's not far away at all.
I do wish there was morning coffee included. :-) But, 7-Eleven worked and the staff over there were great too!

it was conveniently located just off I.25 although a left turn into the street having exited I.25 is NOT to be recommended (as our gps suggested). Adequate parking was available.
The reception staff were difficult to communicate with and pedantic to the n.th degree about checking in/out despite the room being ready. The room was adequate for our needs for one night, and it appeared other rooms were let longer term to workers in the area. The bed was so soft, being it would appear just a 6 inch foam rubber mattress, that you immediately rolled to the centre on lying down.
