Tasteful and beautiful decor, gorgeous architecture and style. Excellent food at all the dining options. Very friendly and helpful staff. The beach through Old Fort Bay Club is the most beautiful on the island.

Breakfast was not included, coffee machine in the room was adequate for our needs.
Pool area very good - except pool service buzzer note below - towels / throws on the beds very nice and flavoured water available from dispenser - although this wasn't always refilled if running low.
Onsite Market Place handy for groceries, good selection of international produce and fresh baguettes!
Friendly, helpful staff.
Old Fort Bay Club was amazing, great staff and food / drinks - perfect paradise ambiance.
House restaurants very good, quality food and flavours.
Additional surprise at Sunday brunch from chef Alexandra who presented us with a 'celebratory dessert' for our recent wedding (in Bermuda). Thank you so much again, it was very kind and much appreciated!
Pool service 'buzzers' placed on the tables by the sun loungers - these don't work and when we asked about them we were told 'oh they don't work any more'. Question; why put them out if they're defunct? We don't mind going to the bar for drinks but seems a bit odd to have these out when they don't physically have a purpose!
Upon arrival, front desk were a bit slow and we had to ask for a glass of water which initially seemed a bit of an ask especially as we'd just paid $60 taxi from the airport which is less than a 10-min ride!
Nassau itself very busy but to be expected with x4 Cruise Ships in port, main drag very touristy!
Getting around is expensive as only means is by taxi and hiked-up in price depending on where you're staying i.e. if you're in the posh area, there is an immediate surcharge from the Govt as a flat rate. Depends on where you're staying but don't expect to get anywhere without spending between $50/$75 for a local ride. We had a private driver with a very nice car and were happy with the pricing but airport taxis can be a bit iffy!

The Island House was definitely what I needed for rest and relaxation. The staff is amazing!!! So friendly. Shout out to Shay, Miriam, Cash, Kent, Michael, Jarvis, and everyone else. The food was great...breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks...EVERYTHING.
No complaints.

It was spacious and quiet with good facilities, the pool and beach club were lovely
It was quite remote, but that was also its charm!
