On Ishigaki Island, in the port ("city") area, there are a couple of these hotels that are as close as you'll get to the standard business hotel that you'd find elsewhere in Japan without booking yourself into Toyoko Inn just across the bay. This one isn't bad. Friendly staff, perfect location for both the best eating and shopping on the island, and for the ferry to the other islands. You get your own bath (a rarity in these parts) and the set breakfast (not a buffet) is perfectly passable.
But...
Like a couple of the other hotels of this level in this area, this is clearly a converted ex-apartment building, so it has a slighlty odd architecture: huge clanking steel doors for every "room" and a poky elevator. Not the end of the world.

西表島からの帰りでの滞在でしたので
洗濯機（乾燥機機能付き）は大変助かりました
ベットも好みの硬さでしたのでぐっすり眠れました
離島ターミナルに近いですが静かな環境も好ポイントでした
チェックイン後の入室段階でクーラーが効いていて快適でした
予約をした私と同僚の方での認識不足から、まず系列店の方に行ってしまいました
系列店がある旨の注意喚起があるといいかもです
