1. The garden and grounds are beyond beautiful.
2. Easy walking distance to town square.
1. Only one member of staff speaks English. Everyone else has absolutely no English capability.
2. All but one staff member is rather old and seem to not have an appreciation for professional hospitality and care for their guest.
3. Atmosphere is very Soviet-oriented, stiff, and very somber. This hotel would be a perfect setting for a 1970s USSR movie.
4. Shower drain was totally clogged and I had to un-clog it with lots of boiling water from the electric tea kettle.
5. Rooms have no AC. In summer I strongly recommend asking for a basement room as they are a lot cooler.
6. Any interaction with the staff was always a major task. Very stiff and inflexible service.
