We absolutely loved our stay here. Carlo was very friendly and helpful during check-in. The house is adorable. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Alimentari Di Giovanni De Lucia grocery store is just right up the steps to the left. It has everything you need. The only helpful suggestions that I would recommend is to have a clothes dryer. The upstairs outdoor deck not quite as depicted in the listing. Despite this would 100% go back. Just awesome.

Carlo and Carla's villa in Positano was incredible. It is laid out and decorated more like a personal residence than a typical short term rental property and has been in their family for many years. Also stocked very well with linens, toiletries and kitchen necessities (coffee, etc). The location was great for getting to either beach for excursions and plenty of very good restaurants within walking distance. Also a bar and grocery on the street above the villa for everything you need. Highly recommend this villa and we look forward to a return trip to Casa Carolina!

Everything about our stay was just delightful. Carlo was a wonderful host, extremely communicative which helped me plan a trip from thousands of miles away. The property is perfect. The views are stunning. The accommodations were amazing. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and trip and I’m extremely grateful to Carlo and his family!

We loved our Positano home! Epic views and a great house for our group of 6. Carlo was quick to respond and always available for the few questions we had. Loved cooking breakfast every morning to that view, kitchen was wonderfully stocked. Be prepared to climb lots of steps, but worth it for the views and great stay!

Beautiful property just as described . Carlo was an amazing & very responsive host . We asked for extra towels & he was at the door to assist within minutes . We had a wonderful week .

Wonderfull stay with great terrace for outdoor meals and viewing sun rises and sun sets. Large bedrooms and living areas with ample space. Note that the 2 main floor bedrooms are adjoined through same door way and share hall bath but they each have separate doors to terrace if you need more privacy. A third bath is upstairs near main bedroom and it’s main bath. After getting use to all the steps to villa and around Positano, we actually enjoyed the exercise and it’s health benefits!! I would definitely stay here again and Carlo, the host, is wonderful to help with anything including porters to carry up large luggage.

The property is spacious, there is plenty of room and the bedroom upstairs is essentially a private apartment space. The views in this space are gorgeous!!!

Excellent stay
We loved our five nights. At first we regretted booking a place high up, but we quickly realized that that kept us away from the crowds in the center of town, and we loved the cafes and restaurants above and around the villa. We had five people (two adults, who took the upstairs room, and three kids in the downstairs rooms). We all slept well.

Great location and hosts
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Carolina in Positano. Great outdoor space with spectacular views. The A/C was nice and cold after walking up the steps from the beach. You can walk everywhere or take a taxi or the local bus.

Bellissimo!
Casa Carolina was the perfect spot in Positanoto call home for three days. The location is absolutely perfect and close to the hustle and bustle of town but far enough away to feel private and quiet. Carlo and Carla are amazing host and were there to help with any questions we had! Their villa is beautiful, extremely comfortable, and all-around lovely. We also utilized the small apartment next-door which was fantastic as well. We enjoyed many mornings on the veranda and many evenings watching the sun go down. The market, pastry shop, and wine store very close to Villa were all excellent. We cannot wait for our return! A very special place.

Lifestyles of the rich and famous in Positano
My group of 6 women loved Casa Carolina, everything as beautiful as pictures, beds comfortable, kitchenware all custom decorated, spent all our free time on large terrace with amazing water view, take care to figure out where you are and how best to negotiate steps, owner contact helpful in door lock problem, only issue we had and not owners fault. Amazing Blue Porter Service to carry heavy luggage up and down stairs on their shoulders. There’s a taxi service we relied on, the Russo Rosanna shop at bottom of stairs was excellent for wines upon arrival and last evening meatball and potato croquettes while packing up. Positano will stay in our hearts forever! Our muscles were definitely stronger than when we arrived, step training suggested!

My husband and I and teenage kids had a great stay in Positano and our accommodation was due to a lot of that. The place is immaculate and spacious and is in the perfect part of town. Location is super. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect
We had a great week at Casa Carolina. Carlo was easy to stay in touch with the day of our arrival. We drove in from Rome with our four small kids, and Carlo was really flexible with our not-so predictable arrival time. This home is not only beautiful, it is fully equipped with everything you need ie. washing machine, full kitchen, and amazing views! It’s located near a public parking lot, and a small shop that sells beer/wine and take-away food, also. One of my favorite parts of our stay was using the outside shower after a swimming and climbing the stairs back to the house at the end of the day! This home was a perfect place to spend the week with our family.

Loved Positano
Beautiful and very comfortable home that had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Carlo set up a driver from mammola car service that took us around the coast and also brought us back to Rome on day of departure. We loved our stay in the Carolina House.

Just perfect!
Casa Carolina was spacious for my family of 7. It was unbelievably clean which is so important to us. Carlo was excellent at communicating with me during my prep (prompt and informative) as well as during my stay. And his lovely mother Carla made us feel like we were staying at our aunt’s house. The property is in a central location but be prepared for many steps! Helps to work off all the marvelous food in Positano. I will definitely return to Casa Carolina next time i visit Positano.

The most gorgeous villa!
Carlo and Carla are such perfect hosts. They went above and beyond for us with anything we wanted or needed. The villa truly is more beautiful in person! We were blown away when we arrived. We cannot say enough good things about the villa or the hosts. Highly, highly recommend!

Just spent an amazing 5 nights here celebrating my 50th birthday with a group of friends. Carlo & Carla were fantastic hosts helping with transport, dinner plans & even recovering a lost bag from the Positano bus! The place is immaculately maintained & has all the amenities you need. Perfect size for a group & well located. The terrace is hands down the best feature - could not get enough of taking in the amazing views of Positano while eating meals & sipping wine. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Carla & Carlo!

Attention to Details results in a perfect Rental
Perfect. That's about all I would say but I feel compelled to write more. Carlo was a great host and has a great property. Perfectly maintained, expertly decorated and well stocked. We enjoyed the two terraces, both overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The place was immaculate. All five evenings that we were at Casa Carolina were were spent on the main terrace we we had snacks and more than a few bottles of wine. This place is just the perfect place to stay for enjoying Positano and and the surrounding area. We will stay at Casa Carolina again.

Beautiful villa with amazing views.
Casa Carolina is a stunning villa with fantastic views of Positano and the sea. There are two large outdoor terrace spaces that really make it special. The villa is beautifully decorated and has all the modern amenities needed to make yourself at home. While there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, it is quite a walk up from the beach, but you're rewarded with the superior views. Carlo was welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is excellent, with wonderful views.

Amazing Villa!
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Carolina, it was just so beautiful! Carlo was a great host. He was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us carry our bags up the stairs! He also arranged car service for us to/from Positano to Naples, which I highly recommend. The Villa was even more beautiful than the pictures show, the beds were big and comfortable, showers great and the house was equipped with everything we needed. The villa was a short walk to the Town Center and to the beach, a lot of stairs, but that's Positano! Theres a shuttle bus from the Town Center if you don't want to take the stairs back up. There are great restaurants close to the villa if you don't feel like venturing down the stairs. If we ever make it back to Positano, we would definitely stay here again!

Carlo made us feel very welcome. He made sure we had something to drink and provided toast and marmelade for the morning meal. The house is magnificient, in anice area. Very clean and well equiped. Surely a place to recommend.

Gorgeous villa with stunning views!
Casa Carolina is AMAZING! The property not only exceeded our expectations, but the owners were incredibly kind, helpful and generous in every way. The location is great (centrally located to Positano's restaurants, shops, and communities), the interior layout / decor is perfect both for socializing in a group and for privacy with abundant windows and natural light, and the villa was updated and very clean. We loved our stay in every way and didn't want to leave! I wish everyone could enjoy this kind of experience on the Italian coast :).
