If you’re ok with outrageous prices for a rather run down property, just for the view, then this is your place! For what we paid per night, or any amount really, it is unacceptable that there was hair in the tub, ants on the counters, the hot tub was not working, and towel exchange/check in was closed when needed 2 of the 3 days we were here. So we had to call the other property and wait for them to deliver towels. And the owner/manager didn’t even mention having to check in at another property prior to getting here. So once we pulled up and drove around we finally got out and saw a note taped to the clubhouse window saying we needed to drive a mile back and check in at the other property. Upon check in they make you come into the lobby for a “lai ceremony”, so I got my kids out of the car seats and was excited. It’s basically a time share sales meeting where they try to convince you to come to a meeting for a gift card. Ugh. The views from our balcony were amazing. That’s at least something, right?! I’d say it was about as bad as you can get paying that kind of money and being on Kauai.
