Great stay, had everything we needed, quiet cove and backyard was really nice

We really enjoyed our stay. Great property with fairly level lakefront lot and nice big dock. Quiet and relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful home, plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The lake was beautiful. Loved swimming, floating and renting a boat for the day.

What a wonderful property! Located on a quiet cove with kayaks and paddle boards. The kids could swim without worrying about too much boat traffic. The home was nice but comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and extras, such as laundry detergent and dish soap. There’s an overhead dog run in both the front and back yards that you can hook onto your dog’s harness so they can be outside with you! There was plenty of space for 2 families with a total of 4 kids. We would definitely like to return.

Our family loved this property. Adults and baby upstairs while preteens stayed downstairs after having fun filled days in the sun. This home also is in a calm cove- no fast moving boats to worry about. Felt very safe in this neighborhood as well. Great communication with the owners and the easiest check in ever!!

I researched for this trip more than any other and then a few weeks before I changed to this property and I am so glad I did! The house was better than the pictures, beyond clean, and so accommodating. Unlike other rentals everything you could think of was right there no need to go out and buy salt, oil, etc very welcoming, felt like we were staying at an old family friends home. The lake was beautiful and quiet, we hope to return soon and hopefully get better weather. The owner was more than attentive and accommodating. I can’t say enough positive things about this property, if you are on the fence…… book it!

My husband, myself, and 2 teenage boys stayed in the home for a week. It is beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. Plenty of room. Two bedrooms went unused for our trip. It could easily accommodate 8 people. It’s in a quiet little cove, great for exploring by kayak or paddle board. The house had everything you need minus linens and towels. One piece of advice is to bring bath mats (I didn’t think of it). The owner was great! He is quick to respond and check in to see if we need anything. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family had a wonderful stay at the lake house over Easter weekend. The house is located in a quiet cove and the lake was very tranquil where we were. The layout of the house was perfect for our party: kids downstairs and adults upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals. The fusball table was a huge hit with the kids. My family enjoyed the kayaks that were available for us to use. Everything was perfect. Just a quick note: you have to bring your own bed linens. It’s something that I missed but nothing that a quick trip Dollar General couldn’t take care of.

Our family of 6 plus our pups had a great couple days. The house is updated, clean, great views of the lake and also has a yard. The covered dock was nice and the water is deep so you can dive. We didn’t have much luck fishing but we’re not the quietest bunch. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards too! Very quiet cove - and close on the water to main part of the lake. Jim checked in on us and was super responsive to our questions. Easy check in /out. Will definitely stay here again!

The lake home and property was beautiful. The owner very accommodating considering we booked the house at the very last minute (late the night before arriving)! Owner checked on us to be sure all was good. Thank you everything was great! We were there Monday-Friday...quiet and peaceful. Some of the trees across the cove were changing colors- so pretty when the sun was rising and made the leaves shimmer in the light. Rented a boat and had fun on the lake. A pleasant stay! A great place for all ages.

We had a relaxing delightful vacation. The house is nicely decorated. Great location, ideal for dogs. Not sure who had more fun them or us! Ate dinner out on the screened in porch every evening then enjoyed sitting around the fire pit until late . The weather was perfect so rented a pontoon boat for two days then kayaked.It was great family time. Thanks Jim for answering our questions so promptly.

The owner Jim is very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Upon arrival the home was very clean. The layout is perfect for multi-families like mine. We had a lovely time!

My family and I, 8 adults and 2 children, had a great time at this lake home near Clemson. The home is exceptionally equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. It could easily accommodate 12 or more and has a terrific fire pit outside for those cooler days in the fall. The owner is very easy to work with and has taken extra care to insure a pleasant experience. I know we will use this home again and I certainly will be recommending it to my friends.

We had a blast with kids. Even though the water level was low, they were able to do fishing, canoeing amd swimming with our dog. It is a beautiful house with a great view, very clean and maintained. The owner Mr. Norton is very helpful, great gentilmen, he makes sure you are enjoying your stay. Having smores on the firepit is an extra bonus :)

Very nice house, quiet neighborhood, nice dock, quiet cove on the lake, slow internet This was a great house, much bigger than we expected. We brought our boat with us and explored the lake daily. If you bring your boat there at least two restaurants within easy boating distance. A nice day trip is a boat ride up to Clemson. The scenery is very beautiful. The house is very clean and well kept. The only disappointment was the slow internet which made it impossible to stream movies.

We arrived on Thur June 9. There were 10 of us, 5 sleeping upstairs and 5 downstairs. Although the house was nice, when we arrived there was a note from the owner asking us not to use the downstairs bath and promising it would be repaired the next day. The handyman who arrived the next day said that the septic system needed pumping and since it was Friday no one would be coming until Monday. That meant that all 10 guests were inconvenienced considerably. We were very disappointed that this problem was not addressed before or during our stay.

The quiet lake house is just that - a great getaway for the weekend or week. We stayed at the house with another family - it was the perfect set up. We all had plenty of room. The kitchen is very spacious, we were able to have many people prepping the food without being crowded. The house was very clean and well maintained. The dock is in close proximity to the house and great for hanging out or kayaking from (we brought our own kayaks). The house is in a cove, so it's very quiet and no boat traffic. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit one evening. There are not a lot of restaurants or attractions nearby, but that was not an issue at all for us. We brought plenty of food and did not need to eat out. Jim was wonderful to deal with and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely rent this house again.

This place is much prettier than it looks in the pictures. We debated for quite a while between a number of properties, but we finally chose this one because the owner was so responsive and helpful. That service didn't stop once we paid. Jim was extremely helpful and considerate by VRBO message and text. I had forgotten that bed linens and towels were not included and grumbled to myself as I packed for 8 people, but I quickly stopped grumbling once I got there and saw how clean and nicely kept the house was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. There was a nice welcome gift from the owners, plenty of paper towels, napkins, trash bags, dish soap, and toilet paper. The fire pit was ready to go - they had set up a great fire for us to enjoy -- matches were in the cabinet! The sofas in both living rooms were lovely and huge! Jim apologized for the Wifi being a bit slow, but we had 8 adults and we all managed just fine. We had a great time sitting on the dock, chatting around the fire pit, and lounging in the house. This house would be ideal for two families -- one upstairs and one downstairs. We were there for Clemson graduation, and the drive was not bad. It is in a remote area, but we loved being able to walk in the evening. We also appreciated being able to pay through VRBO. It avoids that uneasy feeling you have when you have to mail a check or make a payment directly to a stranger. I can't say enough about this owner. He clearly understands customer service!
