Situated in Zihuatanejo, this charming condo for $199 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Preciosa on the Bay is Zihuatanejo's most luxurious resort condo building. Located just up the hill from Playa la Ropa, the sand is less than a five minute walk away. Or simply relax in the infinity pool and gaze out across the stunning view of the bay. The 2000sqft condo has every amenity and convenience at your fingertips. The 500sqft balcony is a perfect place to watch the sun set over the bay, or see the fish jumping as they feed in morning light. It has a wet bar, gas grill, and outdoor kitchenette, making it a great spot for small gatherings. The condo is set up perfectly so that you can see the panoramic views from any room in the house. It has a large master bedroom with a king size bed, private bath, and walk in closet. The second bedroom has one queen size bed and one single, with a shared bath. Located off the terrace is a bonus room with large couches, TV, and a view of the bay. All the rooms are spacious and have a very wide open feel. The kitchen is roomy and modern, and all cookware is provided. The tap water is filtered and drinking water is provided by the building in 5 gallon bottles so no need to buy bottled water. All plugs are American/Canadian style so no need for adapters. The in house washer and dryer add convenience as well. There is high speed wireless internet, and free calling to the US, Canada, and Mexico. This is really ideal for working vacations, or just keeping in touch in case someone needs you. Located in the living room is a 2017 Samsung smart TV, so you can watch Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, and others. There is a manager onsite who speaks excellent English. She is there not only to assist with the condo itself, but she can help you arrange massages, a private chef at the condo, watersports, or just answer any questions you may have about Zihuatanejo. The building only has 10 units, and is always very relaxed. Renting a car is not necessary; the beach is a less than 5 minute walk, as well as numerous restaurants. Taxis are numerous as well as inexpensive. If you do choose to rent a car, we have an off street parking spot for it. The beach at Playa La Ropa is nice fine white sand. Some of the local restaurants have hammocks and tables on the sand, and it's very well accepted to spend your entire day there while ordering a couple of beers and chips with guacamole. The protected nature of the bay means that it's always calm at Playa la Ropa, and perfect for swimming. However, a short distance outside of Zihuatanejo Bay, the shore is exposed to open ocean and world class surfing can be found. For those inclined towards fishing, tuna, marlin, mahi mahi, and wahoo are commonly caught, but Zihuatanejo is most well known as a world class destination for sailfish. In the winter months, when the bite is hot, it's not uncommon for boats to tag and release 12-15 sailfish per day.

This place was a beautiful as it showed on VRBO. Great location, pool with fantastic view of the bay. The only downside was the many stairs leading up from the road. A couple times even the taxi couldn't make it up the drive. The condo itself could use some needed updating, especially the wall outlets as some where loose and almost coming out of the wall and maybe new linen as our room had stains on the bedding. But overall 4 of us had a great vacation, my wife and I would definitely return.

The location and view of this property are outstanding. We probably spent 90% of our time on the large patio enjoying the view of the bay. It is also close to many restaurants and La Ropa beach.
The on site staff are very friendly and helpful. Always willing to call a cab or provide some help with your groceries. The negative edge pool provided a pleasant experience during periods without specific plans.
The host Jack was very responsive to any questions we had. Very positive experience!

Preciosa is a beautiful property with an outstanding staff. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. The condo could be refreshed/ updated for a 5 star review. The water pressure is great, I was a little worried with it being on the 4 th floor, but it was good and the water heated up quickly. The washer and dryer worked great as well. This is a wonderful location with a nice walk to the beach and town.

The location decent. It was a 10-15 min walk down the steep road to get to the beach. The walk up was exhausting. There are taxis available to take you back up. Also the walk to town or decent restaurants was a little far. We cabbed everywhere. It’s not for the moblility challenged.

We had a wonderful time and the property was nice and quiet. Two property cats, gato and salsa, were fun to interact with especially salsa who likes to ride the elevator! I do have to say that renting a car was key to our enjoyment as it allowed us to get around easily to different areas as well as the beaches. Parking is easy as long as you are fine with driving in Mexico. The unit sits up on the hills and to get anywhere it’s a hike — home is all
uphill. With older people or young ones, this might be a consideration. You are not right on the beach. Beautiful view of Zihua from the deck and a bonus room so if you wake up early you can chill in there if it’s too humid on the deck as others sleep. Enjoy.

We have traveled to Playa Ropa several times and loved this condo, the view was fantastic, the condo was large and spacious. Although an older building it was well kept. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We really like the location of building, it was a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes into town. The pool is lovely and had it mostly to ourselves.

We loved the condo’s huge, very private, deck area with fabulous views and we also enjoyed the pool area, where we were often the only people by the pool. The condo was very spacious, clean and well equipped (perfect for our group of 4) and it was really nice to have our own washer/dryer in the unit. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great location to walk to old Town Zihua as well as Playa La Ropa Beach. The view of the bay and sunsets were stunning. The on-site maintenance man was very helpful and we received a call from the property manager shortly after arriving offering services if needed. It was a delightful stay. We will be back!

The apartment is close to the best beach in Zihua. We walked to it every day. It is also close to town. We walked in a took a cab back. Cab cost - about $4 US.

The condo is great and the pool area is fantastic.
All the staff were very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome.
As Jack has mentioned there was some demolition work going on across the road but it did not spoil our visit.
The view is still spectacular.

Great place, breezy on the deck, everything that you need. It’s everything the pictures say plus. The staff here are excellent and helpful right away. The owner, Jack, is super nice and helpful. We love it here. Was a great spot for our two boys aged 10 and 13. It’s quite a steep walk up to the property but I liked the exercise.

Don’t tell anyone else
Zihuatanejo is a gem. Playa La Ropa is the most beautiful beach in the world.
Breakfast on the beach, lounging and swimming all day. Dinner in town or back on the beach. You cannot ask for more.
The Mexican people are beyond lovely. They are gentle, friendly and service oriented.
Just don’t tell anyone else about this wonderful vacation spot. Ok?

Amazing view, great staff and superb location.
We loved the view from the patio. Sunsets were particularly spectacular. The photos are accurate for the apartment but do not do it justice. The location is great. In between the beaches of playa La Ropa and Playa Madera. We easily walked to both and into town. Taxi’s continually drive by which was handy but we also had no trouble taking the very frequent public bus which also goes by the building. We liked that the building recycles and that water jugs for the cooler were provided whenever we needed a new jug. We liked being able to use the dishwasher and washing machine. The beds are comfortable. The staff downstairs are really helpful and friendly and Patricia was great. The owner Jack went out of his way to get us information on emergency medical services available just in case we needed it for my son who has a life threatening allergy to bee stings. The view from the pool was also lovely and the property is kept very clean. The only drawback I can see would be for people with limited mobility because it is quite steep and with a fair amount of stairs. I also would be a bit wary if my children were smaller with them on the patio because there is no railing (which of course improves the view but could be stressful with little ones). We stayed in this apartment for 9 nights and then for another 5 nights at another apartment on the hill overlooking La Ropa and we wished we were back at presocia. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this listing and hope to be back again.

Spectacular views
We stayed 2 weeks at the Precosia and we all loved it. La Ropa beach was beautiful, lovely and Sandy and great for swimming. The pool at the condo was lovely, it was great to cool down in the pool and gaze at the awesome views. The condo it self was lovely and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Zihuat was a lovely town and we felt safe walking through it day or night. Only one downfall is anyone with mobility issues this could be a problem as the area is very hilly and there are many stairs. We will be back for sure.

Great apartment in wonderful ZIhua!
We had a wonderful stay here recently. We loved everything and particularly the huge balcony with the incredible sweeping views - wake up to gorgeous sunrises and enjoy w drink to even more beautiful sunsets! It has all the amenities you would need and we especially appreciated the purified water, phone, washer and dryer and the plentiful towels for pool and beach! THe building has great staff and it's perfectly situated, a 5 minute walk down to la ropa beach and a 15 minute walk to all the action in charming ZIhua town. Besides being a perfect setting for R & R, ZIhua is also a town for foodies. Nothing but great meals, whether in ZIhua town, on the beach or in la ropa neighborhood. The local megamart and the markets in town have all you could need for food, produce and drinks. Jack the owner also responded to our inquiries promptly, and provided helpful advice.
