The location at the south end of Copacabana was good as it's close to Ipanema which is a much nicer area than Copacabana but it's cheaper, with great views of Sugarloaf mountain.
Copacabana area can be sketchy and as a small group of men we got offered drugs a lot! Phones get stolen that often that when I told reception that mine had been he didn't bat an eyelid. It actually got stolen on a day trip not far from Selaron steps whilst ordering an Uber but when I went to the police station their first guess as to the location was Copacabana!

Right on the beautiful copacabana beach. Superb staff. Extensive breakfast buffet. Super clean rooms with excellent housekeeping service. Rooftop was also beautiful and they had a gym. Great location and easy to go to Ipanema beach (short walk). We also saw one of the most beautiful sunrise from the rooftop. Overall totally recommend.
Room was a little small.
