Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. We stayed here with my parents, and the staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is excellent, just two blocks from Copacabana Beach. There is a 24-hour supermarket right across the street, as well as a bakery and many restaurants nearby, so everything was very convenient.
The building itself looks a little old from the outside, but our room had been nicely renovated and was very clean. The bathroom was also modern and spotless.
We arrived at SDU Airport before 11 a.m. and had contacted the hotel in advance about early check-in. We were told it might not be possible, but on the day of arrival, the front desk kindly allowed us to check in earlier than expected. They also helped bring our luggage to our room, which was a particularly nice touch.
The rooftop does not have an ocean view, but there is a small pool where you can relax and enjoy some quiet time.
Breakfast was also very satisfying, with a good variety of food. They even had champagne and fresh vegetables for sandwiches.
We also booked a tour through the hotel because we preferred to explore Rio with a guide, and we were very happy with the experience.
Overall, an excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, and very helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again.
Nothing in particular. If I had to mention one thing, I would say that I wish the rooftop pool were a little larger. Other than that, we had no complaints.

The location
The lifts were not working the first day we arrived
Then the next day only one lift was working for a hotel full to capacity. Long waiting times and most times we took the stairs
Out dated furniture and facilities in the room . The blow dryer should be updated as it took me firecer to dry my hair and being near the beach this is an important equipment for us ladies .
The breakfast was the same with out the 7 days of our stay. They should look at the likes of international guests and cater some foods to our taste as well .

The breakfast was simple but suited our needs well. The location was good close to the beach and restaurants .the room was quiet mostly and a good size.
The curtains in the room needed washing, the bathroom had mould in it, the dinning area chairs were stained, the bed was very firm initially (fortunately the house keeper rectified this), spas are old fashioned now and having to step into one could be dangerous for an older person. Really the hotel needs som renovation.
