Lily and her husband were super welcoming hosts. We had dinner here both nights and the food was delicious, I would wholeheartedly recommend staying with them in the evening for a lovely dinner and then to enjoy the roof terrace. It was a little chilly, Lily was kind and grabbed 2 warm blankets so we could enjoy the terrace. You can see parts of the great wall from it during the day. It is up a small hill to get to the entrance for the great wall and Lily sorted our tickets for us the night before. We went up for the first cable car ride at 7:30, Lily ensured we had a great breakfast beforehand and sent us off with water. We had parts of the wall entirely to ourselves and we would not have been able to do this without staying here.

The owners are amazing, the location is 5 min away from the Great Wall entrance, the property was clean and the room has a nice balcony watching at the mountains

It is very close to the entrance of the Great Wall which meant that we could go up onto the wall before the droves of tourist buses arrived from Beijing. That meant we had no queues and great photo opportunities with hardly anyone there. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are spacious. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They picked us up from the airport late at night, made amazing food for breakfast and dinner, and helped us to buy tickets for activities
The property itself has a beautiful roof terrace with a view of the Great Wall.

The whole stay was amazing! We had such a wonderful time. The place is really beautiful with great spaces downstairs for breakfast and dinner and a rooftop area for chilling.
Lily's cooking was incredible - it's really worth having dinner there. Her husband picked us up from the airport and helped us buy our tickets for all the Great Wall activities.
Best hotel we've stayed in.
