My family of 8 adults and two children of 3 and13 months had a great week in this lovely villa. The pool was excellent for a family holiday with shallow parts but still deep enough to give an adult a swim. The bedrooms were clean and pretty and the dining area on the terrace had enough chairs and a lovely bar-b-q. We ate at the villa quite a lot due to the children and found no problem cooking whatever we wanted. There was air conditioning in all but two of the bedrooms where there were central ceiling fans. This was a little difficult but improved by extra standard fans. Wheelchair accessibility is doubtful due to the number of stairs in the villa and then to the pool. The owner, Valentino, was extremely pleasant and helpful and we exchanged a number of emails before the holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending this reasonable priced villa. This villa is quite isolated and quiet and a car is essential. There is adequate parking available at the villa. Beaches in the area are lovely and are of both rocky and sandy types. There are many good local restaurants in Quartu Sant'Elena and we had a lovely lunch of suckling pig and deserts of panna cotta at Su Meriagn. The best local supermarket is Primo Piano but the little figs from farmers stalls at the side of the road were wonderful and should not be missed. A visit to Benedetto, a big market in the main town of Calgiari approximately 13 km away, is also a must and we particularly loved the beach at Villasimius which is a bit of a drive but worth it. The local water park Diverland, was also brilliant.
