I felt really welcome by the family who owns the place, I couldn’t get to Laos because of visa issues and they took me in straight away

Great location near the bus station and not far from main sites. Staff were welcoming and helpful tho little English is spoken. Budget option for Dien Bien Phu.
The room was quite poor. Solid mattress, windows didn't shut properly so security concerns as opened onto internal corridor. Not cleaned properly, bin not emptied, top of wardrobe thick with dust and stained sheets.
