Excellent location near the lake and near to Via Francigena route, very comfortable room, very good shared facilities, attractive old building near to attractions.
Nothing really. It was hot in the room when we arrived and when the weather is like this, it would have been helpful to have had the shutters or curtains shut earlier.

Lovely hostal style hotel. Shared bathroom but pretty quiet and all very clean. Lovely big private room with a view over the square. Could have stayed for much longer.

House was charming, staff and manager are friendly and fun and the location is unbeatable.
My room smelled of stale cigarettes. I thought it was coming thru the window, but the manager insisted that couldn’t be the case. After 2 nights I realized the smell was stuck in the carpeting. Even after the maid cleaned the room thoroughly it kept smelling - the wall to wall carpeting needs to be changed.
Also, the shared bathroom in the hallway for our floor only had one shower that was sub par, especially being the only one for so many ppl to share. The whole bathroom flooded during use, and the shower curtain was way too small. Easily fixable stuff.
