Staff were helpful and attentive when I had a problem. Location is probably good for some people, with nice food places around. The hostel was clean and tidy. Free water was really nice.
Didn't really feel particularly welcomed by the staff, the shower and toilet facilities were clean but not very good. The beds were not very comfortable. My aircon unit leaked water all over my clothes and soaked them- but I still had to pay to clean them myself. Staff didn't really fix the issue they just moved me to a new room the next day and no real apologies for the inconvenience. Had to pay 50baht in 10baht coins to use the washing machine, which is a bit tricky to get the coins for. The communal areas aren't very nice and there was not really anyone there to talk to or socialise with. The area the hostel is in is a bit of a funfair area and was not my favourite as quite a few food places were aimed at Korean / Chinese tourists eg hotpots etc. Also - the balcony advertised in the photos is not accessible due to safety / weight restrictions.
