Located in Wimberley, this attractive house for $325 per night is a great option for your next trip. Edelweiss is a lovely 2 acre country home on the banks of beautiful Smith Creek, just 3 miles from downtown Wimberley. This spacious home is great for families or friends with an open layout and custom kitchen. The home boasts 2.5 baths, 3 bedrooms (king, queen, and two bunk beds), plus a large game room with a pool table and 2 additional twin beds. The large fenced yard is great for kids and pets with horseshoe pits, a badminton net, fire pit, hammock, picnic table, expansive deck and charcoal grill. The home backs up to Smith Creek with a scenic view of the creek just below the backyard and lovely stone steps down to the water. We think you'll love this house! The name Edelweiss belongs to a delicate white flower made famous in The Sound of Music. From the morning songs of the chirping birds to the evening orchestra of the frogs and toads along the creek, the Hill Country is definitely alive with the sound of music! Enjoy the creek behind the backyard, watch the deer graze as you sip your morning coffee, strum your guitar beside the fire, challenge your friends to a game of pool, have a family BBQ on the gorgeous back deck, snuggle up by the fireplace, or lounge in the hammock. There's something here for everyone! We are environmentally conscious and offer a level 2 EV charger, recycling, compost, eco-friendly soaps and cleaning products, recycled paper products, and a reverse-osmosis filtration system for drinking water. Pet Policy: Pets must be declared in advance and our pet fee is $50/pet (max 2 pets without prior approval). We ask that if dogs are left unattended in the home that they are crated. Pets must remain on leash when outside of the fenced yard and brought inside if barking. Creek note: Smith Creek is a spring-fed year 'round creek, however creek levels and flow can be affected by periods of drought. When full, the creek is great for swimming directly behind the house and is about 5'-6' deep. We cannot control nature, though, and cannot guarantee that the creek will be swimmable during your stay. It's an amazingly gorgeous spot no matter what the water level may be!

Home was just as pictured, so much fun playing badminton and fishing in the creek. We gathered around the fire pit every night and looked at the stars. There was plenty of room for the kids to spread out when needed. Great property

This property was the absolute perfect location for our family trip to the Hill Country. The large, fenced yard was a great find for those traveling with pets and we loved the outside lighting, grill and fire pit. We visited the town square, Gruene and Canyon Lake and all were within reasonable distance. No issues but the property managers were very attentive to questions. If you like to cook like we do, the fully furnished kitchen with everything needed to cook full meals was a nice surprise! We loved the game room, double fridges and roomy living areas. So many great things about this property...Pictures don't do justice!

Having postponed reunions during COVID we had our first in person gathering and Edelweiss was absolutely perfect. Lovely, spacious, and well appointed the property met all expectations. We would return!!

My group of friends came to Wimberley for a girls’ trip. The house was perfect for our needs. We had enough space and enjoyed the backyard and the game room. The driveway was a little hard to find driving at night, but after the first night, we were able to find it easily.

We stayed here to celebrate a 30th birthday and had a great time! The house was cozy, clean and very spacious!! Living room was great for visiting, the rooms had plenty of space for our party and the added room with the pool table was great!! It was chilly when we visited, but the outdoor area was beautiful, and would be great to spend time on the porch during a warmer season. Definitely would stay here again!

This home is definitely made for get togethers with great areas to gather and enjoy each others company! From the spacious kitchen, living room area, game room, screened porch, and outdoor area with fire pit. Close drive to many amenities. Outdoor area great for wandering around in peace and nature. My parents joined my husband and I and our 10 month old baby and dog for a 5 day stay at this property. It had a great location near the blue hole, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable living area. Really appreciated the blackout shades in the bedrooms for our baby. The river access was super close though the water was low because of the drought. We didn't mind though! Communication with owners was super easy. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

Whatever you're picturing, scratch that, it's 10xs better. The house is gorgeous with plenty of space for everybody. The backyard was perfect for our family and our dog. While we could hear the neighbor kids playing joyfully in the distance, our morning coffee on the back porch felt secluded and perfectly shaded under beautiful trees. Even in this Texas heat the shade and the breeze made the backyard a place we could enjoy all day. This was our first family gathering with 3 groups and we all had plenty of rooms to spread out when the baby needed a nap and then come back together for funtivities. Loved it and would love to stay here again.

This was our 4th visit and we've enjoyed ourselves so much every time. With an elderly parent we don't really take advantage of the things to do in/around Wimberley, but there's so much to do at the house we don't feel the need to leave anyway! We spend a lot of time on the beautiful back porch just visiting and catching up. Perfect way to relax! Thanks Jen and Greg for another awesome stay!

This house is as close to a perfect rental as you can get. Spacious, relaxing, and peaceful. From the spacious kitchen, the amazing game area, the living room, and the ever so comfortable rooms, you will never feel crowded. Your whole group can easily be spread throughout the house and yet still come together for meals. The backyard highlights the outside of the property. Kids can run around the yard and the grownups can watch them from the picnic table on the deck. This house was definitely a wonderful find. I hope to come back again.
