Nous avons apprécié l'excellent accueil des propriétaires. Le chalet est en tout point conforme à la description. Il est très confortable, lumineux et très bien équipé. Le jacuzzi a été fort apprécié.

We stayed self catered in the chalet over Christmas week. The chalet is beautiful - true to the listing, clean and well-maintained. Lots of space. Very well appointed kitchen. Massive bedrooms, well set up for both grown ups and children. We were very impressed that there was a cot, high chair and other baby paraphernalia for our 1 year old. The hot tub in the snow was amazing! Jayne and Sid were excellent hosts - even though we were self catered they were available to answer queries and help us navigate the local area. The chalet was convenient for the grand massif ski area - we were driving because we had a 5 year old skier with us - but the lifts are walking distance for adults. Chalet Ski Shop ski hire were great - delivered our equipment to the chalet itself, were friendly and returned to make adjustments during the week as we needed them. We booked ski school and private lessons with zig zag ski school who were also great. We want to go back as soon as possible!

Pure Alps seem to have got *everything* right. First of all, the chalet itself is beautiful. They've been going for about a year I think (as of December 2017), and you can really telly how much love, thought and care has gone into the interior design and fit-out - it's how you'd design a chalet if you were going to live in it yourself, and then some. The bedrooms are ginormous, the beds and bedding are wonderfully comfortable, and the showers are hot and powerful. The living area has plenty of space, comfortable chairs, a great library, and the all important wood burner. The group I went with were mostly skiing, and all thought the proximity to the lifts (particularly when combined with being dropped off by our hosts) was perfect. I mainly ran, rather than ski-ed, and although this wasn't *that* practical in -4 and snow - it's still good hill training and gave me an excuse to join the others in the hot tub with a beer when they came back from the slopes! The more I look at the area though, the more I want to go back in the summer for some proper fell running, hiking and maybe even a spot of cycling - so finger's crossed I'll find time to go back before the snow returns. Finally, the service we had from our hosts could not be faulted at all. You can really tell that this is a labour of love for Jayne and Sid, and I'm so glad they decided to start this place!

We had a wonderful time at Pure Alps. The chalet is very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax and beautiful furnished. We were a group of 7 adults and 2 children (1&3). The bedrooms were really spacious and quiet with a great en-suit. Everyone had enough space for privacy. And the kids enjoyed the beautiful garden as well as the relaxing Whirlpool. Jayne and Sid were very good and helpful hosts. The allowed us to use the vegetables from their garden for our meals. This was delicious. Morillon and Samoëns is perfectly located. The Grand Massif has a lot of activities to offer for adults and children. You can reach Annecy and Chamonix in only 1h drive - it's worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis. Le chalet est magnifique et très fonctionnel. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de l'intérieur comme de l'extérieur avec le jacuzzi et le barbecue. Très belles randonnées Merci à Sid et Jayne

We had a wonderful time at Pure Alps. The chalet is very comfortable, with great food and lots of space to relax. The Grand Massif has loads to offer which is great as we were a group of mixed ability. The (very long) Cascades run is particularly beautiful and worth doing if it's open. There are also lots of nice shops and restaurants in nearby Samoens. Highly recommended.

Relaxing and rejuvenating. Jayne and Sid our hosts were welcoming and laid back, creating a warm and open atmosphere for our stay. Our room was really spacious and quiet with a great en-suit. The whole chalet was beautifully furnished in a contemporary style with all the mod cons. The area was beautiful, we were mostly walking as it was Spring but we loved the out of season feel and the scenery was stunning. Can't recommend it highly enough!

It is hard to describe just how perfect the balance is between the warmth and sparkle of Jayne and Sid's welcome, and the stylish mid-century chic of the chalet they have lovingly designed and curated. Everything has been thought through so carefully - from the kitchen equipment (we self-catered), the quality mattresses and bed linen, the bounteous provision of hot water in luxurious showers, and the chest full of games and puzzles. Not to mention the book shelves so full of intriguing literature that you could almost curl up on the sofa with a large glass of vino and forget to venture forth into the beautiful surrounds. The chalet is HUGE. As a lively party of 14 we much enjoyed the living space (plenty of room for playing the cereal packet game and building human pyramids, oh yes), and easily fitted around the huge tables for our meals. Jayne couldn't have been more helpful - adjusting the bed layout etc to match our idiosyncratic requirements, and furnishing us with all sorts of useful tips for local shopping, eating, ski hire etc. Jayne's eye for design has ensured a chalet that feels exquisite, but is also totally practical, even with a hoard of children in tow. I shall stop gushing now because otherwise you'll all be booking and we'll never get to return. Morillon and Samoans between them had an array of fun Easter activities to join in with, and both offer a beautiful, old-fashioned alpine charm. The skiing was fun - varied and plenty for everyone of all levels. I'd love to come back in the summer and see the 'other alps'.

Plans for additions to the chalet sound exciting too: sauna and cinema room in the basement! We'll be back to enjoy the great ski area and this impressive chalet.
