Nestled in Byron Center, this attractive house for $70 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Owner occupied Beautiful Private Country setting. This is a room rental with full house access. A shared home. Owner occupied Just a short drive from Grand Rapids and all the big city activities. Property is a beautiful park setting on several acres. The home has a keyless entry for easy access. The bedroom also has a lock. The bedroom available is on the main floor with a double bed. A detached private bath with double stall shower. Large closet. Iron, extra blankets, and pillows, for guests. Kitchen access available with a coffee station. Laundry available for long term guests over 7 days. Coffee and tea provided in the mornings. Above ground Swimming pool is available for the guests in the summer with approval by home owner. Near Kent trails, several parks, Lake Michigan beaches, Meijer Gardens, Gun Lake Casino, Rivertown Mall, The local cuisine is walking distance, with several restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, and fitness clubs. Get to know the neighbors at the popular patio restaurant with beer garden, a favorite go to spot for many guests. Free park concerts in July just a short drive away. NOTE: THIS IS A SHARED HOUSE. One indoor/outdoor kitty on property.

Patty was welcoming, kind, and gracious. She has a wonderful, cozy home with a pool to beat the heat. Despite the proximity to a neighborhood, the location feels secluded, and my wife and I watched the July 4th fireworks of the surrounding area from her home. Highly recommended.

Patty was a pleasure. Super nice property, quaint room, clean and serene. Had coffee with owner in the morning, great conversation and nice way to end a busy trip!

Patty and her college student "Kitty Watcher" were extremely friendly, and made us feel at home in this "Shared" environment. Interesting home with beautiful views!

My friend and I came to MI for a concert and just needed a place to stay over night and patty was so welcoming and kind to us! I felt like i was at home and felt very safe. definitely booking when there’s future concerts in MI!

They were VERY accommodating when I made the reservation. My mode of transportation was weather dependent as was my arrival time.
The pictures show a beautiful home and a lovely couple. I wish that I could have seen seen the place. My wife was ill and I had cancel at the last minute. I sent a message letting them know. I neither expected nor received a refund. It was the night before my stay so I fully understand and agree. I would have liked to have seen a response to my message.
I would like to try to make a reservation in the future as it looks like beautiful place.

Patty is a wonderful host, and I really enjoyed my week of solo vacation in the Grand Rapids area. I had a quiet room with coffee in the mornings and good conversations about music. I'm very introverted, but this setup suited me fine. I came and went as I pleased and had a great place to come "home" to. Highly recommended!

Just stayed from 9 PM to 8 AM, but the property is awesome and the owner is inviting and accommodating! The property is well-maintained and beautiful, and easy to find

Even though we shared the home with Patty she allowed both privacy, but we also enjoyed our conversations with her. She is a fascinating lady! We were invited to share the main floor with her. She has a beautiful deck and above ground pool. Our room had lock and key along with extra items stocked such as laundry basket, personal TV, water, and even some complementary candy. We had our own Bathroom. Which was nice. We could leave out our bathroom items. We were there for a conference. So we were on a schedule. But she had English muffins with homemade jelly set out so we could take with us to the conference. All and all we will definitely be staying with Patty next time we’re in Grand Rapids. If you love country music Patty has a lot of background, especially Bluegrass!!!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Got away with a friend's for the weekend and wanted to visit Grand Rapids. The property is about 20 minutes south of the city and is perfect to get to the city, but also has the small town feel. The house is on top of a hill and the view is great, wildlife, quiet, and great coffee! Patty was amazing and we loved getting to know her over morning coffee on the deck. The room was clean and pretty and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend this property. Asking with touring Grand Rapids, we got some drinks at Open road brewery in Wayland and ice cream at Houseman's in Byron Center. I can't wait to come back! Perfect weekend!
