Nestled in Lake Texoma, this lovely house for $506 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to Casa del Lago- Lake House. Full remodel of this lovely spacious lakefront home. Water front location with walk- up lake access and beautiful views from many rooms. The sunrises are spectacular! Dine on the patio to enjoy the expansive water views or enjoy sitting in the sunroom with a wall of windows with an incredible lake view. This quiet neighborhood is only 1 hour 15 minutes from Dallas. The primary bedroom downstairs is nicely appointed with a large bathroom including double vanities and double shower heads. It also includes a comfortable sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress in the sitting area. Inside this beautifully remodeled lake house are amenities including games, flat screen TVs with Direct TV, WiFi, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops , comfortable mattresses with quality bedding, Central A/C, celling fans, and an outdoor gas grill. The other two bedrooms downstairs each have a private full bathroom. The expansive upstairs loft which includes a game room, several beds, and a full bath is an excellent location for all the kids or even several adults! This 4 BR and 4 full-bath home will provide plenty of space for your group! Surrounded by nature and the beautiful lake, all will enjoy the gorgeous sunrises and tranquil setting. All water sports and fishing are just steps away. Marinas are a short drive to rent boats, jet skis, and tubing equipment or launch your own boat. Bonfire pit is an excellent gathering spot at night for the family to make s'mores! Enjoy this home all four seasons!

There's a real opportunity to make some essential updates to the property here. No one who is paying $$$ a night should be asked to deal with your dishwasher situation - or even read a note about it. It should just work and it doesn't - and you know it.
A deep clean for grout and windows would be a great idea. There were wasps wandering freely in the home - hope you were able to find the nest.
And the "fully stocked kitchen" with "nearly every cooking utensil you need available" has no rolling pin, no food processor, no crock pot and the knives were dull as could be.
Hopefully the leaking faucet bib can be fixed before the ice storms come in January. That's a real opportunity, for sure. And Costco has new towels at a really good price. Those brown ones deserve to be retired.
Given our chat about the state of the laundry room lint, I know this review isn't going to come as a big shock. Wishing you the best as you go forward with your investment. Greatness is at your fingertips! Go get it!

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and enjoyed every minute. Plenty of room for our guests 6 adults 2 kids. Every room having its own full bathroom was a huge plus. Beautiful sunrises and romantic sunsets will bring us back.

Coming from Frisco it took us an hour and 9 minutes door to door! The house was beautiful and lake views were stunning. More than enough room for us two coupes and our teen kids. They had so much fun playing in the game room. We fished out back and took a boat ride and made s’mores in the fire pit. What a fun and relaxing weekend. We will be back definitely!

We brought my dad (89 years old) to the lake house. Other family joined us for the weekend. My dad used his wheel chair and walker to move about the house. The weekend was a big success.

We had a great time at this property, the house was beautiful and has plenty of sitting room with an open floor plan, stocked kitchen, and comfy beds for a small to large group!

We had the perfect set-up! Kids upstairs! My husband and I in master bedroom and others spread out! We rode pontoon boats both days and came back and relaxed! The only thing I can think of is maybe needed a few more wash rags and towels! Wonderful experience that we will talk about for a long time !

. The view of the lake is beautiful, which is what caught my interest in booking the property, but staying at the property was a bad experience. The description of the house left out major issues. What was not in the house description is that the living room which leads out to the patio, had two tall steps that run the length of the room. There is no other way to access the outside except the steeper than normal steps which have no rail or way to balance one’s self. I read the description very closely concerning steps as I do not navigate them easily. Another tall step down from the inside of the house to the patio. The step has no rail and is onto a wooden board which did not seem attached properly to the house.
No internet/Wi-Fi or TV the entire trip. .Host kept telling us to make sure the box
Is plugged in. We had no internet therefore the Direct tv service did not work. Tried multiple times and time of day and we never had internet service or tv. during the entire stay. The Host did nothing to facilitate restoring internet.
A/C cooled living area and kitchen. Bedrooms were too warm to sleep comfortably. We were visiting during the summertime so I specifically asked if there would be adequate cooling. “A/C is working fine” was the reply. It seemed the portion of the house added on was the problem area.
Way too many rules after you get there. Written Warning on using the dishwasher and consequences if you make a mistake made you not want to touch it. Strip the beds and gather bathroom towels before you leave and take everything to laundry, take your trash out to cans before 7:00 am on Monday etc. she had rules about the rules and the constant threat of adding $500 to your card if you did not follow exactly. We are very respectful of VRBO homes but this was to the extreme.
Host refunded $100.00 for lack of internet and TV service entire weekend.

This large and spacious home comfortably accommodated 10 ladies for a girls weekend. From the fully stocked kitchen to the large sitting room to the comfortable beds…all things good! The house is well appointed and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We didn’t utilize the upstairs room but it’s a great hangout spot for kids! We were able to do a little extra fishing from the beach right outside the back door. Phyllis is a gracious hostess with clear communication from initial point of contact to check out. We will most definitely stay at this house again for future fishing tournaments. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

Lovely house with great bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. Big Windows facing the water and nice patio to sit out on and bbq. House was very clean meet all our expectations. Great getaway for a long weekend out of DFW.

Location couldn't have been better. Peaceful neighborhood, beautiful views, excellent location. Close to numerous boat ramps and parks for swimming areas. We had 2 families with ages from 18 months to 15 years old, plus adults and everyone had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The house was the cleanest rental I've ever stayed at! Open concept so everyone could hang out/cook, and the views off the back porch were phenomenal. Owners are super responsive if needed!
