Beautiful home and property. Convenient access to town. The hosts have thought of little details that make it feel like home. Would definitely stay again!

This was an outstanding place to have an Ann Arbor base camp. Brought two teenagers on a campus tour trip to our old stomping grounds at UM. Chef's delight and home away from home feel. Great layout and attention to detail. Bar/Game floor was ridiculous and led to very competitive challenge night! And the steam-room shower was quite excellent. Outdoor paradise with the Koi pond, covered patio and garden/trail action. Shawn played out some piano man hits for the crew as well. Everything you would ever need in the kitchen -- spices, equipment, even sushi setup! You need to stay here if you are visiting A2 or Irish hills area. Great access to US12 and I94 without being too close to them.

10/10!!! Best place to stay for family/friends/couples...Prime location a few mins from the mall & Downtown Ann Arbor. You wont be dissapointed....The owners were GREAT & we will definitely book again.

We had our 2nd stay at this location and it was as perfect as the 1st time. Really enjoyed the entertainment area in the basement.

This was our third stay at John and Arnold’s place. We just love it there! The hosts have thought of everything you might need or want. The house is tastefully decorated and so much fun. Highly recommend!!

Blown away by the experience and amenities. John and Arnold have a lovely home with every need and detail provided. Downstairs party room is a dream for any teen and adults alike. Steam shower perfect dor after a chilly game. Five stars all day.

A group of six friends stayed for a weekend. We appreciated how close we were to Ann Arbor and the beautiful property. The backyard is beautiful and relaxing by the koi pond. Inside, there are two large fish tanks and a piano. We didn't use the basement much since it was beautiful out, but is as pictured/described. I didn't realize that one of the bedrooms is in the basement while the other two are upstairs. But everyone had a great time and would stay again! The property is definitely set up to be entertaining and relaxing!

But the defining thing is definitely the cleanliness and attention to detail from the hosts: everything was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared (little things like unopened and sealed paper towels and sponge left out for us). Communication was A++ They even left some really cool music on to greet us (haha, I shazamed the song that was playing). This stunning and immaculate home in Ann Arbor was perfect for our winter getaway. My husband and I stayed a week here, with our three teenagers. It was convenient to the downtown, yet in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed during a snowy week in February, and the homeowners were very accommodating. They came over several times to shovel the sidewalk. Although we were snowed in for part of the time, the house had everything we needed to stay relaxed and entertained. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for our cooking adventures. The home was beautifully decorated as well. This is one of the finest homes we have rented!

The house is absolutely beautiful.. We were greeted with a smile and kindness.. John and Arnold are extremely nice, their response time to txts or calls with any questions.. AMAZING.. looking forward to visiting again :)

What a great location for our group of six. We were a short drive from the U of Michigan campus. The home has tremendous outdoor appeal in the backyard, a great man cave with many fun things to do, and a comfortable dwelling with incredible high tech home entertainment devices.

Thank you Arnold for an amazing stay. The home is perfect for a weekend getaway! Filled with a great kitchen, all sorts of fun games in the basement, many beds, and bidets in every bathroom!

This house is in a great neighborhood and convenient to food and shopping. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities. The real treasure of this house was the basement and the backyard! The owners were great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful clean and quiet location beautifully and artfully decorated with amazing socializing and family gaming accessories and workout equip in the basement. Nice deck off the back facing a private wooded area with a small screen. Backyard has a gazebo with a Koi pond and is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Owners are very kind and attentive to make your stay as best as it can be! Strongly recommended 😊�

Great house, much to do in the basement.... Darts, Pool, Table Shuffleboard, Bar, and Pinball Machine. The kids loved this house. Very close to the University. We really enjoyed our stay.

Came with another couple and the house is so fun, clean and friendly you really do t even have to leave. Great home!

The main house is clean and very comfortable with all of the amenities of home. The basement offers everything that a family or group of friends would want. From a pool table, darts, shuffleboard, to a bar, steam room and large tv, one could spend hours of enjoyment there. The basement door opens to a large backyard with water fountain, barbecue, and plenty of seating. Couple all of this with a helpful owner that answered all calls, emails, and texts. Lastly, the Big House is short/cheap Uber ride away. Next time I come to Ann Arbor, I will stay here.

Thank you to Arnold and John for the use of their beautiful home. We loved feeding the fish and the tranquil feeling of the garden and backyard. When it began to rain we loved playing pin ball, pool and shuffle board - all a part of the basement living/game room. The shower/sauna was fantastic! We were so very pleasantly surprised and it will be our first choice next time we are in A2.
