Room was big. I liked the way it's furnished with solid, dark wood furniture. The bed was big and soft. There was a sofa, mini fridge, desk, chair, TV in the room. Free water and some snacks. Bathroom had a tub and shower stall, with a mishmash of old and new plumbing - all the taps worked, no leaking - so it seems like it's maintained properly. It's a very convenient location, within the old town footprint, near the beautiful Wat Chedi Luang and Chiang Mai Night Market, etc. The staff were around every time we were downstairs but not at all intrusive. It was easy to ask for help, buy food/drinks from the bar or put your order in for the next day's breakfast. They also helped to take my bag upstairs (there is no lift in the building and all the rooms are upstairs) and store our extra luggage when we went for overnight stay at the Pon Elephant Sanctuary. There is a small garden to sit in (you need to use mosquito repellent). When we were there it rained a lot or was very hot, so unfortunately it was not really a good option. We ended up sitting at the covered public dining area most of the time. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient place for travellers. Thank you Elliebum!
If you have problems climbing stairs, don't book this place. Maybe a few sofas or a guest-only sitting area within the building should be considered.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Old City and near many historical places. Walking around the hotel is easy and very safe. Breakfast was good from a long list of options. The staff is incredible friendly and always willing to help. Wifi was good in all parts of the hotel.
