A calm, quiet and peaceful homestay. A home away from home. Very attentive, yet relaxed owners, Sandeep and Neetu are the perfect hosts. Their Man Friday, Ashok, was exactly the same, affectionate and efficient. Their kitchen rustles up perfect home style food, and needs to be ordered in advance, since it’s a small set up with four rooms. The room itself was like the bedroom of a friend’s home, aesthetic, neat and clean and comfortable. Easy access, Gole Market and Apsara Road were barely a 5-7 minute stroll, good connectivity with rickshaws available all day, and the main old city was 15 minutes away. Highly recommended for someone visiting Jammu who wants to avoid hectic hotels and enjoy a secluded and peaceful place to stay, and yet be moments away from the action!
Everything was great, travellers must remember it’s a homestay and not a starred hotel, so do not expect fancy facilities. Enjoy it for its simplicity and location.
