About this house rental
3 bedroom, 1 bath older home located directly on the beautiful 3,328 acre freshwater Lake Placid. (If your looking for a nice cottage on the lake then this is the place for you but please keep in mind its not the Hilton as with any older home it has some imperfections) New covered dock with boat lift, jet ski lift, and table & bench to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Lakeview right from the living room and large screened in lanai. Charcoal grill close to patio & lake. Boat ramp from State Road 27 is only 3 houses away from home. Conveniently located 2 minutes from the grocery store (Winn Dixie), 5 minutes from town, 30 minutes from Sebring! Please keep in mind during the months of June, July, and the first two weeks in August we like to only book for the entire week Saturday to Saturday if possible. *** PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THERE IS A 12 PEOPLE LIMIT INCLUDING GUEST AT ANY TIME OR WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE WITH NO REFUND** ***NO SMOKING***

We had an amazing time at the lake house. The laid back and relaxing environment was exactly what we were looking for. The sunsets on the lake were gorgeous. We will definitely be staying again. We loved the cabin and the views.

House is in a great location.... i will give it that. house next door is empty and looks condemned. Otherwise this house isnt level in some spots of the house. The benches on the boat dock had too be scrubed off by the water, Because there was so much bird poop on them too sit on. Looked like owner hasnt been too property in a while or had his eyes on the house recently. Definitely needs to be thoroughly cleaned inside and out. Multiple light switches hanging out of walls and lights not working in the one bedroom. Would stay here again if owner fixed some of the issues. Otherwise it was fun. Family enjoyed ourselves. Neighbors are nice. Lake placid is Beautiful.

Our family stayed at this cozy home for Labor Day weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. Communication with the owner was superb. The house, dock and swimming area were perfect.
We will definitely come back!
