We had a wonderful stay at the “Stunning St. Simons Island Home”. My husband and I have three grown sons who have their own families now. There was plenty of room for all of us at this house in St. Simons. I am sure we will stay there again in another year or so. My daughter-in-law said that this was the best set up they had ever had in a housing situation and it was right near the beach. She and her family were able to have the downstairs to themselves. That was so convenient. Thank you, Evolve, for giving us credit when we had to cancel our reservation a year ago due to health issues.

Our family of 8 stayed at this property over a holiday weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The lighthouse, pier, many shops and restaurants, and the beach are all within walking / biking distance of this home. The parking area is large and access is easy (for the area). The home itself is an interesting layout. It was originally built as two separate independent living areas, one on the first floor and one on the second, but the owners rent both floors as a single property which works well since access to both floors is contained within the building itself. The upside is that you get two full kitchens, which is a nice bonus for large groups. The home was clean overall though we could find some details to gripe about (e.g, master shower could have used a little more attention). The house is nicely furnished, though some pieces are showing their age (e.g., king bed mattress could use replacing, etc). The backyard is a bit of an afterthought, but was not a problem for us. However, if you expected to use the outdoor space extensively you might be disappointed. The biggest issue we had is that the upstairs dryer has an issue where clothes "catch" between the drum and body of the dryer and can be damaged. We had several items damaged in the upstairs clothes dryer. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again. The owners are lovely, check-in is easy, the location is great, the house is nice, and the beds are plentiful!

We stayed here with our big family, which was perfect. The location was fantastic - easy walk to several public beach access points. Also walkable to the village center including shops and restaurants (although not well lit so would be cautious walking back alone at night). Having two kitchens and two living rooms was great when we were all hanging around in the evening or if it was rainy. The hosts left several little items to help us enjoy the house (details easily overlooked), including dishwasher pods, sponges, soap, beach chairs, and a couple of clothes-washing pods. We will definitely come back and stay here!

This was a trip for my daughters birthday. We were excited from the photos online. Check in was easy and we were able to enter earlier. Once inside there was a musty stale stuffy odor as if the place had not been open for a long time. Surfaces, drapes bedrooms were very dusty. We immediately went to purchase cleaning supplies. No matter what we sprayed it still had a stale musty odor in the home. The vents were very dusty and you can see the dust hanging out the vents. My kids have really bad allergies so they doubled up on their medicine. The ceiling has many spots where it looked like water leaked and had stains. We stayed out as much as possible and only came in to sleep. On our final night we went to bed early since we had to wake for a flight early that morning. We were awoken around midnight by the kids saying there was flooding from upstairs. There was so much anxiety surrounding this we were trying to get the master toilet to stop leaking and called the owners. We couldn't even go back to bed. My daughter slipped and fell with all the water downstairs trying to stop the water from spreading further. The owners seemed sincere on the phone, but refused to do anything for the troubles. It seemed as if this was something they were aware of but chose not to fix it. We loved the area, but this was not a good experience for us.

We had a wonderful time. The owner is very responsive and easily communicates through text. The house was just as described. This was our second time staying at the property and everything was clean and working. The instructions to use Wi-Fi, TV, etc were clear and accurate. The location is excellent and the whole experience was really great!

The house had black mold on all the vents downstairs, and the air filters on the air conditioners looked like they hadn't been changed in a long time. We got there late Saturday night and when we saw the house the next morning, we could see dust on all the photos, towel rack in the bathroom, the fans, and light fixtures. The owner was very responsive and sent a cleaning person out Sunday morning but the mold was not addressed and she did not do a good job dusting even after we pointed stuff out. The owner agreed to us cancelling our reservation but unfortunately Evolve would not provide a full refund. We had to spend a full day of our trip trying to find another house and then moving houses. It was very stressful and disappointing. I will never rent with Evolve again.

Great location, cute house
This house is located very close to everything. We easily walked to restaurants, parks, beaches, etc. The house is older and has some "quirks" for sure so be prepared for a beach house older vibe. The space was perfect for our group of 9 of all ages. Bring your own beach gear and extra soap/paper products. Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly.

The house was just what we need. We had 7 guys staying there and was playing golf in the area. The place was clean, well stocked kitchens, and comfortable beds. The host reached out to us the day before our arrival. I would love to rent this place again next year.

This house is super convenient to the lighthouse, pier, and Village area…easy walking distance. The house is charming, with large gathering spaces great for our adult group. The local contacts were kind and extremely accommodating. We had a great stay!

It was great having 2 levels, 2 washers & dryers & 2 full kitchens. The nice beach was just a couple blocks away. One word of advice- book your golf cart & dinner reservations early. Everything gets booked up fast. I hope we will be back
