It is said that in times past, the land adjacent to the villa was used as a shooting range. They aimed at marksmen from a distance of about 300 mt, hence the villa's characteristic name. There is also a very old, small cellar with a vault dating back to 1600. The villa is situated in a panoramic position 1.5 km from the town of Castiglion Fiorentino, which can be reached by a short walk. We recommend the walk to the village, without taking the car you can walk to one of the typical restaurants in the narrow streets of the village, or just go for a coffee at the bar or a fresh homemade ice cream.
