The landlord couple was very customer focused and very sympathetic. Accordingly the service quality was excellent and the whole stay a pure pleasure. Would definitely recommend the location to friends and family. AAA!

Everything was superb and exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was royal, everything was fresh and eggs ( scrambled and omelette) were the best we ever had!!! Room was very spacious and comfortable ( much better than staying in a regular hotel), great bed, soft linens and wonderful shower ( plus nice fluffy towels) and beautifully decorated ship - what more could one wish for?? It was also conveniently located right under the windmill (with a beautiful view) and very close to the watertaxi station ( incredible experience as well since we got to the centre of Rotterdam in 5 minutes)..oh and the sweet Golden retriever was added bonus!! We miss you already!!!

Departure - wish we could have stayed longer!!

My stay in Rotterdam for 6 nights was a real pleasure. Steve, Karina and Fay (a very dear Golden Retriever) not only made me happy with a delicious breakfast every morning, but also always had good tips ready for my trips. In general, a stay like this on this ship is something very special and much more pleasant and individual than a mass hotel in the city. The public transport is only 10 minutes away on foot and there is free parking lot for your car in the immediate vicinity. I would love to come back to the "Aurora" if the opportunity arises!!

The room and bathroom were very clean and much more specious than we thought. Also the owners are really great people and make some really good breakfast! Everything we wanted to see or go to in the city was within walking distance which was perfect. There’s also plenty of parking next to the ship. Great service and recommendations from the owners, thanks again!

Steve and Karinthey makes me feel home

Second time in this floating hotel, all is good: dog, the crew, the room, the view, the beds, the amenities, the atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent!

Steven and Karina are such great hosts. We had a very warm welcome - it felt like visiting friends, even though we never have met before. ❤️ The facilities are wonderful, rooms are very spacy including a closet and you will have your own bathroom. The boat anchors at a quit canal in Schiedam. Take the water Taxi from Schiedam-Zuid (7€ one direction/person) or take the train (10min walk) to the center of Rotterdam. You also will receive your own keys for the front door - no need to call or wait for your hosts. Breakfast is served at your preference. Steve was so kind getting us fresh croissants in the morning. You will also get eggs, different types of breads, biscuit, cheese, Marmelade, fresh orange juice, tea, sausage-cut, fresh fruit Salat and much more. 🤩 There is a lot parking space for your car at the street next to the canal at no extra costs. Don't expect your stay to become / or be a basic one. Karina and Steve will try their best to make feel welcome and comfortable. Try to spend at least one evening with them and find yourself in the midst of funny and deep conversations, stories and views on life - combined with a glass of wine or two 👌🏻👍🏻 Much love - Leo & Alexa ✌🏻️☺️
