Great view of the rice terracess and the surrounding areas. Place is great for relaxatio. No TV but there is wifi. Breakfast that comes with the room is simple but enough to satiate for the day.
Staff members are also friendly.
Limited facility for wheelchair- bound guests. No ramp and it can be a little difficult to brinh down and up the luggage.

This place works. We came in late in the evening when it was dark. And the next morning we woke up to the most beautiful view in Sapa. It is unbelievable. You see the rice field terraces and it is completely tranquil. It is a bit away from Sapa, but as this town has become over-commercialized, it is actually positive to sleep outside. Simply take a taxi to go eat to the city center. If you are not in the mood, you can also eat in the hotel. They prepared for us one meal which was of superb quality. Staff was very nice and spoke English.
If you want to take a hike in Sapa, it is best if your guide comes in the morning directly to this hotel and you start from there.
Our most favorite part was to read a book on the balcony and enjoy the scenery.
Mind that the rooms, each one sits on a separate terrace. So when we booked two rooms because we are a family of four, the second room was not on the same platform. We ended up each that each parent shared a room with one kid, rather than leaving the kids alone.
You also have to carry your suitcases a bit over the stairs, but it was not a problem and the staff were helpful.
On some of the facilities you see this is not the newest hotel, but the positive sides certainly prevail.

Chapa Ecolodge was honestly the highlight of our Vietnam trip. The moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The hosts were incredibly kind and made us feel at home from the start even coming out to greet us and seeing us off when our taxi arrived. The views were unreal, the room was spotless, and breakfast overlooking the mountains was something I'll never forget. The two little puppies were such a sweet bonus! It was peaceful, cozy and the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Next time I'm in Sapa, I'll definitely be staying here again.
