What can we say that hasn't been said already! A truly beautiful villa with every detail and luxury thought of. Maria and Antonio were so welcoming and Maria very kindly took us into Funchal a couple of nights. Thank you so much Maria for making our holiday so special, we will definitely be back! You do need a car if you want to travel further afield to see this stunning island. It is well worth travelling further, the scenery is amazing! We did use the local buses too which were very good. We had the added bonus of a driver that was available for three days. Mr Silva was only available for one day but he organised a fantastic replacement in Angelo, he was amazing! We had a lovely few days touring the island. It was our first trip to Madeira and it certainly won't be our last!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our 4 nights in this attractive villa with extensive views over Funchal. We appreciated the ease of being picked up by Mr. Silva from the airport as well as dropped off at the airport at our departure. We also utilized My Silva as arranged by the house owners for a relaxing day tour of the island. The house was fully stocked with all that was needed during our stay with easy access to the city center via a bus stop in front of the house. A joy to stay at and recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Funchal with a pool and room for a family.

Antonio greeted us at the villa with the keys and showed us round the house, he then very kindly allowed us to follow him to a near by supermarket. The villa is very private with electric gates and we felt very safe staying here! I can recommend the villa to anyone who wishes to have a relaxing time in Madeira!!

Das Haus ist wirklich toll, sehr großzügig, hochwertig und gut ausgestattet. Kann man uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten leider das Pech, dass die Poolheizung kaputt war. Somit war der Pool (im Februar) für uns nicht nutzbar. Des Weiteren fehlt ein DVD Player, was normalerweise zur Grundausstattung gehört. Deswegen würde ich insgesamt 4,5 Sterne vergeben.

Zuerst ist zu erwähnen, dass die Ausflüge mit Mr. Silva , der uns sehr schöne Plätze der Insel zeigte, super waren. Das Haus ist so perfekt wie es die Fotos vermitteln. Leider hatten wir große Probleme mit der Elektrik. Jedes Mal, wenn in der total gut ausgestatteten Küche ein 2. Gerät eingeschaltet wurde, sprang die Sicherung heraus. Auch hatten wir die letzten 3 #Tage lediglich lauwarmes Wasser. Da wir über die Feiertage dort waren, konnten die Probleme nicht kurzftistig beseitigt werden. Aus diesem Grunde bewerten wir das Haus mit 4 Sterne.sollten die Schwierigkeiten mit der Elektrik behoben sein, erhielte das Haus auch von uns 5 Sterne.

The whole experience from using the site to rent the villa, from arriving to leaving was exceptional. Amazing house finished to a high standard. Spotless clean. Literally I could have eat my dinner off the floor. Maria & Anotonio are wonderful. Nothing was a problem and was always there to pick us up and drop us off.Mr Silva was unreal. Driving us about the island and slipping in little detours here and there to see this magnificent place. If you are thinking of renting this villa don't think just book it.A looking forward to returning to this beautiful home and amazing island

We had an amazing stay. The villa is perfect for families and is scrupulously clean and extremely well equipped if you want to self cater. The chauffeur service was an excellent plus for both shopping, excursions and eating out. Maria and Antonio genuinely care about the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

The villa is stunning! The entire property was immaculate and everything in this property feels high quality. The rooms are very generous indeed. The location is perhaps where some might find fault as it is relatively far from the center of Funchal and the stunning villa appears out of place nestled among comparatively modest properties. As we had a lot of driving to do, the location was great as you have easy access to the motorway (VR1). It is hard to find fault with the villa as everything of importance was great. The only thing we found lacking was a visitor manual/folder that tells you things ranging from how to use the technology/equipment to which days the rubbish is collected etc. This is a minor issue and we were able to contact our hosts if and when needed and they were always more than happy to help. In fact, they went above and beyond expectations. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would stay there again if we ever find ourselves with similar accommodation requirements. Only regret is that our holiday came to an end which meant we couldn't stay longer in this fabulous villa on the magnificent island of Madeira!

For a family of 6 this property is ideal with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Great views over Funchal and with the bus stop over the road then easy access to bars and restaurants. No shops nearby so you need to stock up at the supermarket. Would definitely recommend

We spent holiday the whole family together, grandmother and grandfather, a family with two small children and still a family. This Villa was very suitable for the big family, because everyone had its own peace and place. Villa was very cosy and clean and kitchen was great for us, because we love to make good food ourselves. We had also a cardriver , who took us to see places around the Madeira. The only thing that could be better was the climate that you, of course, could not control. Because the house was in very high place, clouds were gathering and the sun was not shining during the week in our Villa. Thatś why the water in pool was also very could and children could not swim there and we had to drive every day to the different part of Madeira to get sun.

It's even better than the pictures. My wife and I loved this home - and we loved Madeira. Maria's house is on the mountain side maybe 1000 feet above Fun challenge and the ocean. Which means there things - cooler temperatures, beautiful views, and it is quiet. The house is even way better than the pictures. Everything in the house is fop of the line. The swimming pool is awesome and offers total privacy. Maria could not have been more helpful. Thank you! You will need to rent a car. We would recommend Funchal Car Rental. Our two favorite restaurants were La So Fundo and Cris's Place.

Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen Urlaub in der luxuriösen Villa Paraiso sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt: Traumsicht auf Funchal und das Meer, riesiges Haus mit moderner Einrichtung, schöner Pool und grosse Terrasse. Praktisch war auch die Bus-Station gleich vor dem Haus. Somit konnten wir ganz einfach in die Stadt fahren. Ein Miet-Auto ist so nicht nötig. Super waren auch die 4 Tages-Ausflüge, die wir mit Agostinho unternommen haben. Er hat uns die schönsten Plätze der Insel gezeigt und wir haben viel von den Bewohnern der Insel erfahren. Vielen Dank. Vielen Dank auch an unsere Gastgeber Maria und Antonio. Alles war perfekt organisiert. Wir können die Villa Paraiso allen wärmstens empfehlen. Sie werden begeistert sein. We spent one week on Madeira Island. Enjoyed hiking during the day and lovely restaurants (recommended by Antonio) in Funchal at night. We had a superb Holliday. The only problem is that the villa Paraiso is so nice and luxurious that it is really hard to leave it to do the activities. We decided to shop our own food and wine to spend at few of the nights at home instead of going out just to get the chance to enjoy the villa with the beautiful lighted pool. And the tips, help and advice provided by Antonio and Maria were more than I ever had expected. I would recommend this place to everybody who is seeking a really high standard stay with the best hosts you can imagine. Maria and Antonio; Thank you so much for having us. We stayed here for a week ( family of 6 ). Villa is spotless and it's even better than describe on the photos. Maria and her husband (Antonio) were very helpful. When we got there Antonio took us to local shop for shopping. Villa is very spacious, Vila is cleand in details. We made few phone calls for general query regarding sight scene and they responded as we were their family. We been to so many places before but this one has touched our heart due to Villa, weather and great people and nice scenery while you relaxing at swimming pool area. Local shops and Funchal city centre is not far. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to travel to Funchal. Certainly going back.....

We had a fabulous holiday at the Villa Paraíso, we could not recommend the villa any higher everything was as we had hoped and Maria and her family were amazing hosts who could not do enough for us despite one or two upsets with our children falling ill. Property was totally as expected furnished and finished to a high standard and well maintained and spotless clean. Would totally recommend property to friend and relatives and we hope to visit once again in the future.
