The view was breathtaking! I love the architectural design of the home and the aesthetics for a modern chic city home off the grid!
The additional features like pool, jacuzzi, soaking hot tub were all perks!
Even the master en-suite bathroom was extremely pleasing!
I loved the kitchen as it was the perfect size to prepare a small culinary meal for an intimate group of people.
I especially enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows that surrounds over 80% of the home. The dual sided fireplace that can be seen in the dining area as well as the upper deck patio was also pretty impressive for this location.
Overall these are all the attributes I love love loved about the home!
I will have to say I did find the driveway very intimidating as it was steep and narrow with no guard rail to protect a driver from going over the cliff if not extremely careful.
I thought the property could use TLC to replace certain things within the home.
1- The “Italian leather “ sectional is wearing thin on the upholstery and after sitting it can be found on your clothes.
2- The walls could stand to be painted or at least very minimum- a good wash.
3- I brought my own linen, but I would not have had enough for my entire stay.
4- The pool was not working properly and the service team was repairing it at my check in time; they were an awesome and friendly team so I did not mind. They were helpful in navigating through the property and even set the pilot to the fireplace.
5- the last night there started to be an odor like septic tank failure/back up and by the time I left it was only getting worse. I didn’t know what it was until I got home and explained it to a friend.
6- other minor issues were resolved like replacement of outdoor light bulbs and also the door to the patio beside the master bedroom did not work. It was reported and repaired the following day while I was out and about visiting the area.
7- bedroom fireplace did not work at all. Hopefully someone will be able to enjoy as it is modern fireplace that looks great while bathing.
All in all the place is nice but if the property owner does not invest upkeep in the near future it will be a great place gone bad. The structural work is great but people will want to stay and pay for a place that is aesthetically nice and not falling apart.

Solitude and remoteness a pleasure. Very quiet and peaceful.
Closeness to Wimberly, Blanco, Dripping springs, and Fredericksburg a plus

The house itself is stunning as well as the views
This house is beautiful but beware. Hornets nests and infestation of spiders.
The house is in the county so expect to deal with nature. But this experience was a bit extreme. We couldn’t use the hot tub as a hornets nest was directly above it. The jacuzzi actually was dry and there was no way to add water. Everytime you opened the door spiders would enter the house.
The pool is great and the house is spectacular from a design point of view but it really is showing its age now and is in need of a coat of paint and some maintenance.
If I had paid $400 less I would shrug it off and not comment. But for what we paid it’s disappointing as all these issues are easy to fix. The owners chose to ignore my constructive feedback unless we show pictures or we address issues while on location.Hopefully you will have a much better experience after these comments.
Once they clear up those issues then it would be excellent.
