Loved the place, but hated dealing with Hill Country Premier Lodging

Wonderful place! It's quiet, peaceful, and has everything you need for a comfortable family getaway -- IF everything works properly. The Cabin felt very clean, spacious, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch, making fires in the huge fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the pool was broken and that made our vacation less enjoyable. If that worked, I would be giving this place 110%!

Dealing with Hill Country Premier Lodging was absolutely awful! We called with a problem and the manager I spoke to hung up on me. Instead of trying to figure out what happened and how to fix it, he blamed me for causing the problem. Which I absolutely didn't do. Luckily one of his co-workers called me back a few hours later, showed sympathy, and apologized. She was very creatively looking for solutions, and even looked if she could move us to another cabin but everything was booked. In the end, she offered a refund for the amount of nights we would miss if we chose to leave early. We left a day early and got our refund. BUT a day later, the company charged my credit card a cost of another night at the property. I couldn't believe it. I called them and they refunded me the money back but honestly, the fact they charged me without my permission made me very upset. We will not be returning because of Hill Country Premier Lodging.

Great place for Hill country vacation!

The cabin is very comfortable and fit our large family's needs perfectly. Excellent location, close to Wimberley and Canyon Lake. We look forward to coming back and hopefully making this trip an annual family outing. Thanks for the wonderful family time!

Other than two minor issues, the accommodations were flawless. Had an issue with the bathtub, only able to use the shower head in the claw footed tub and one burner on the cooktop wasn't heating up properly.
