Very private, yet close to Kingston's major points of interest, restaurants, and supermarkets, the villa sits on a quiet residential street in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city. It is a perfect home away from home for business travelers, families, or creative types requiring privacy, security, comfort, and space. For quiet enjoyment only; no parties, strict visitor policy. A hidden gem in the heart of uptown! The villa sits behind an automatic gate on a self-contained private property. It has a large, airy, living and dining area; an open-plan kitchen; a dedicated workspace with ample desk space and seating for two; a coal barbeque and wet bar; a pool area with lots of seating, and an assortment of bedrooms set over 3 floors. High-speed wireless internet is available throughout the villa. DETAILS Ground Floor, first level:- Living and Dining areas, powder room, and open-plan kitchen + 6th bedroom/TV room with queen day bed and quick access to the powder room 1st Floor, second level:- Guest Master Bedroom (bedroom 2) with queen bed, en suite bathroom, and standing balcony + Attic-like 5th Bedroom with single bed and quick access to the powder room. 2nd Floor, third level:- NEW! Grand Master Bedroom (bedroom 1) with king bed, en suite bathroom, double sinks + tub and standing balcony + 3rd Bedroom with queen bed and en suite bathroom + 4th Bedroom with 2 single beds, en suite bathroom, and standing balcony. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:- We can accommodate 11 adults in 7 beds (1 king, 3 queens, 3 singles), as well as an additional 3 persons on 3 single air mattresses. PARKING :- Guests have access to at least two open-air, private parking spaces at the entrance to the villa. OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE RATES :- Villa rates start at $497- 547 per night for up to 6 guests only. Additional guests are $50/person per night (listed as "additional guest fees" on your quote). STRICT VISITOR & SECURITY POLICY**:- Only registered guests are welcome on property. NO VISITORS/OUTSIDE GUESTS except by special arrangement (additional fees may apply). Pickups and drop-offs in the parking area are fine. **There is a separate visitor policy for long-term guests (2 weeks +). BASIC SERVICES ARE INCLUDED :- A light morning clean-up of the common living areas (kitchen/living/dining/pool) is included in your rate. The pool is cleaned twice per week. EXTRA SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE :- Grocery shopping, meal preparation, additional housekeeping, and laundry services can be arranged at additional rates. Ask about our private transportation partners. PROPERTY STAFF :- The housekeeper lives in private quarters on the property and she will be your host and main contact during your stay. The gardener also works 5 days per week. PROPERTY PET :- There is a small, elderly dog named Grizzly that guests may occasionally encounter in the parking lot area. She keeps a watchful eye and will bark but is generally very friendly. POTENTIAL FOR NOISE/DUST :- The next-door residential lot is currently being developed. ADDITIONAL UNIT ON PROPERTY (see host profile for details) :- An additional rental unit - a one-bedroom, 1-bathroom garden suite - (also on Vrbo) is located at the back of the property (split-level) with exclusive access to the large, fruited back garden. For larger groups renting both units, a set of soundproofed and double-locked double doors can be opened up to create direct access to the suite from inside the villa. The suite sleeps up to 4 persons and has a full kitchen plus a stand-alone bathroom (i.e. not ensuite).

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay at this beautiful villa. We loved the privacy and security it afforded while still being quite central - close to restaurants, grocery stores, and all the “important” places in Kingston. The home itself was well maintained, and the pool was always refreshing at the end of a long, hot day on the road. The only downside was the mosquitoes, which are to be expected. Ms. Carline (and Grizzly!) were wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

This property is beautiful! Well maintained with a stunning setting and view. We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Carline and Grizzly. She took care of all our needs and with much love and care. Her cooking was 5 star and we enjoyed it all ~ Thank you Carline! Would not hesitate to spread the word about this heavenly home away from home! Thank you Joanna I look forward to coming back ❤️

This property is gorgeous and was a beautiful place to stay for our soccer team members and families. It was a lovely treat for us. The pool was perfect and every room was comfortable. Camile was so nice to us and helpful, and the gardener helped us too! We felt safe and secure. Thank you!

There were 6 of us who stayed here. The overwhelming regarding the house was, in a word, "AMAZING". We were welcomed by the owner upon arrival. The housekeeper, Carline, was very helpful and appreciated. The neighborhood was also peaceful. The open play layout of the living area, and the breathtaking view of the pool, and mountains in the backdrop were simply stunning. I would definitely recommend Barbican to any group or family travellers. When you book, I would recommend requesting to be shown how to close the windows in the rooms to keep the bugs out at night. Overall our entire experience from booking to our stay was friendly, pleasant and satisfying.

Our group was a mission team, we needed a safe quiet spacious home for our team to rest and regroup. This home was perfect, we felt safe, it was quiet (except some barking dogs), the pool was refreshing. and the bedrooms had AC. Convenient location with restaurants and grocery near by. The housekeeper Carline is onsight and always took care of any questions or requests right away. Really I want to go back and just spend a week relaxing at the house. Thank you Joann for a wonderful experience for our team.
