The location was fantastic with free street parking using a blue card provided by the owner . I was 10min from the Menin Gate and right next to the linen Hall and main square .

The interior could do with a good painting and decorating plus new carpets on the stairs . I felt I was back in the 70s with the decor . I was only staying two nights which I felt was enough .

The only budget accomodation in Ypres, great position.

It was budget.

Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were warm but a fan was provided so all fine. Spotlessly clean. Cleaned daily and thoroughly. Great view from attic room window. Windows opened. All advertised amenities were there in one room but kettle and remote for TV missing initially from the other, however, this was quickly rectified when we contacted Bernard. He was very efficient and replied to texts immediately. Toilets were electric but worked! Some thoughtful touches like information on parking, eating etc. Generally, this was good value for money central, easy parking . I would stay here again!

On approaching the property it looked grim and we wondered what it was like inside. The stairs are steep and spiral and the hand rail on the first flight was very wobbly and didn't start until about a third of the way up! The handrail on one of the other flights was split. Carpet on the stairs was ripped and not attached in places. Loose tiles on bathroom floor in attic room and leaking sink in other room. No where to hang clothes in attic room and lights in same were desk lamps clamped to a beam! Plugged into sockets which didn't work. Extension lead provided so able to circumvent these minor problems. Not a place for someone with mobility problems. Very few TV channels.

Above all was fine

Unclean. towels stained with holes in. rooms dirty. double bed was two uneven singles pushed together. sink leaked.

Stay away. Bed bugs everywhere!

It was a horrible expirience staying there.

clean, friendly staff. if you forget anything of sentimental value, they will send it to your home if you ask frankly not enough stars on google.

Cheap Bed was big and comfortable

Strange place - felt very DIY. Entry to the bedroom was through the bathroom. Bathroom door to bedroom didn't close at all. No toilet paper was provided. There were no bedside lights. Using the shower flooded the entire bathroom. The internet was too slow for the netflix to work. There was no signage on the street so you felt a bit strange entering the door code in to a random apartment building. No reception so I felt a bit uncertain opening a random room (which I had been texted the number) to find a key on the inside.

Shower broken. Chimney underneath my window. Nothing on site about disabilities and room was on second floor. No lift!

Not worth passing comment

It was clean and good for one night travelling through.

In the room we had there was no water cooker. The window could not be closed properly.

Don't really no if I liked anything

The person upstairs disturbs when he is walking. It's like he is going to fall on me.

Stairs worn, very steep. Loud. Rails broken. Room very basic. No B&B touches e.g. pictures on the walls Thin walls and stair sounds. A big domestic fight on the street during the night. Thunderous arrival of guests at 03:30 am.

Stairs...because i am old.
