About this house rental
Private home backing up to an arroyo provides views of 8 mountain ranges- including the Santa Rita, Patagonia, and Huachuca. Enjoy relaxing on the large custom-crafted flagstone patio while you grill and watch the beautiful sunsets behind the Tumacaroris reflecting off Mount Wrightson to the East. As the sun goes down, enjoy the sight of the sacred mountain Baboquivari falling into shadow. The lack of ambient light at night allows for incredible star-gazing, and the solitude provides great opportunities for contemplation and relaxing.
The interior of the house is simple and designed to maintain the stillness you experience outside. High-speed internet is provided. There is a large open layout, and the dining room has a door out to the patio. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need to create delicious meals, and there is adequate dinnerware to serve meals for groups of 8 on the solid walnut dining table. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, antique furniture, walk-in closet and a private bath. There is a queen bed with an antique dresser and a modern nightstand in one of the bedrooms. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds with a modern dresser. The two bathrooms have tubs.
Located near Rio Rico, it is 20 minutes from Tubac, 15 minutes from Tumacacori National Historical Park and 45 minutes from Patagonia State Park/Sonoita State Creek National area, providing excellent opportunities for birding. Madera Canyon, one of the largest Madrean Sky Islands and home to 256 species of birds, is also close by. My car is in storage under the carport so only foot traffic and sitting in carport area, no place under carport for another car, sorry.

Stayed here for 3 days. Well stocked and location is great. Not far from hiking trail and freeway. Scenery was beautiful. Communicated with owner a couple of times and he is very responsive. Would stay again.

The family stayed for my son’s Allstar baseball tournament in Nogales and the house was close and quiet. We had a great stay

We liked the peaceful setting and lovely mountain views. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, having 2 bathrooms, and being able to use the washer and dryer.

Listing failed to disclose the lack of use of the carport. Owners car parked in carport. We wouldn't have made the reservation if it had been disclosed that the carport could not be used. Sandstone patio was lovely as was the view from the patio into the GREENSPACE.
