With a view that immediately brings you peace, "A Shore Thing" is a delightfully themed, first floor, corner unit in the Salty Hammocks condominiums that allows you to enjoy every aspect of a home away from home. Sit on the deck and bask in the salt air, crashing waves, and ocean breeze. The open living room and kitchen area provides a cozy atmosphere for family and friends to spend time together. A modern kitchen with all the essentials gives you just what you need to make your favorite home-cooked meals. There are two bedrooms (one with a Queen and one with two Twins), two baths, and comfortable living room with a sleeper sofa to give you enough space to accommodate 6 people. It has a nice sized deck to enjoy your view of the ocean including a spectacular sunrise. Salty Hammocks is an oceanfront condominium building with private beach access, and a spacious oceanside pool. While visiting "A Shore Thing" in Carolina Beach during the summer, make sure to visit the Boardwalk, it has fun for all ages, or take in a Movie at the Lake on Sunday evenings and no one should go home without trying Britt's Donuts, it's located on the Boardwalk. The NC Aquarium at nearby Kure Beach is open all year, the kids especially enjoy the touching pond so make your plans today to visit Carolina Beach. *Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office. Occupancy 6: Sat/Sat rental in Summer. Min two night stay other seasons. My husband has short term memory loss so this was a great location for him to make it to the condo and back from the beach on his own since it’s right off the walkway to the beach. Corner unit was awesome. Would like to see some updates inside.

The location was perfect with super easy access to the beach. We loved the large balcony overlooking the beach. Perfect for watching the sunrise! The condo has all the amenities of home. The kitchen was small, but we managed fine with two adults and one child. We were disappointed that we had to check in with the property manager instead of having immediate access to the unit when we arrived. The mattress on the bed in the primary bedroom was very hard and as a side-sleeper, it was almost painful for me. I also wasn't expecting the large area of mold growth in the primary bedroom closest. I snapped a pic and sent it to the property manager. Hopefully they will take care of it before the next guest arrives. Other than the mattress and mold, which are both easily remedied, the unit was perfect for us.

The property was very convenient to the pool and overlooking beach entrance gate.
But... there are some things about the property. There is little lighting in the kitchen and eating area. Only a light over the sink, none over kitchen or bar and no light over the table. We didnt have candles to use to help us see our meal. The whole place seemed to be more for smaller people. We are tall and the shower head was so low I had to bend over to use it,
A wand should be installed for this reason. Also, the silverware is not adult sized, more an in between sized for toddlers.

The beach was beautiful, had several days of great weather. The Condo was everything we needed and the views were amazing. We were able to check in before we expected to so that make our first day even better ! Could not have asked for a better week !

Property floors were quite dirty, location was amazing. Very disappointed that we had to travel to other beaches for 3 days of our trip, pay for parking and activities that we did not budget for, due to the beach renourishment. Reached out to Bryant for suggestions and never heard back. Many other people from The same location at salty hammocks were reimbursed for nights lost or offered extra nights. I never heard back from Bryant when I inquired about this.

Had a nice birthday long weekend at this sweet condo again, came back to this favorite rental after 3 years. It was as nice as before, very comfortable with everything you would need. Upon arrival it was a bit difficult to get in and had to call the office twice. Once to get the code changed and then to get them to bring a key since the second entry door was locked. This actually happened 3 years ago too! However, Bryant realty sent someone immediately with a key and it was not a big deal at all. Excellent customer service! One other slight problem we had was figuring out the tv. The multiple remotes were confusing but we finally figured it out. We look forward to more stays at this cute condo in the future!

We have stayed in multiple Vrbo s world wide including others in the outer banks. Always including in Scotland there was always the basic seasoning available for use. You need to at least have salt and pepper for use. How much can that cost. Think about what you would want.

It was an older condo, it is on the beach and easy access to the beach. The condo has older bathrooms and the toilet and sinks are low. Parking is an issue even though you are told you can have two parking spaces. The deck has some very soft spots. It was clean and has two recliners and a sofa. It was a nice visit to the beach. The condo is close to town.
