The very best thing about this place is its uniqueness. If you wonder about the organisation of the flat, it looks like it was divided from a bigger one to two-three smaller ones. The other great things: windows with a look at the park, a comfortable bed, a gramophone, which is a nice touch, some cookies, water and Port wine to welcome the guests. Even the local soap was something we appreciated. The host was very accomodating even apart from that, attempting to go over what is a decent service. So even if you have to have a 15-minute walk to the centre-centre, we give it a 10, probably staying there again whenever we return.

What a find! Everything about República 157 was amazing . Huge room, comfortable bed and everything you could imagine that you may need on your trip - including a clothes steamer! The hosts also deserve a very special mention as the communication, friendliness and patience (when I struggled to use the keypad) was a highlight of my stay . If I return to Porto, I will definitely stay at this gorgeous residence again . Thank you Ines ❤️🍷

The size of the room was extremely pleasing. The location is excellent for walking around. The 1920 decor was so interesting.

The hotel room was excellent. Clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with everything necessary which made my the stay feel even more comfortable. Inés was very polite and responded quickly to all my questions.
The hotel is located in a nice, calm neighbourhood (still, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby) and it is only 10’ away from all the main attractions.
