About this house rental
Welcome to this newly-renovated holiday home, an apartment on the second floor of the old village hall. The apartment has a balcony with a beautiful view of lake Stråken as well as of the village and the church. On the bottom floor there's a spacious balcony, perfect for dining, spending time together, and enjoying the view. The apartment features a small kitchen and a large, combined living room/dining room. There are two bedrooms. The apartment sleeps a total of five people, in a double bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed. In the bathroom, you will find a WC, a washbasin. The cabin is also equipped with an AC. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature, with plenty of great walking paths with mushrooms and berries. There's a boat for rent and a fishing permit is included in the boat rent. The near village of Lammhult offers a number of furniture stores, a grocery store, a chemist, a bank and a restaurant. If you want to make a daytrip, you can visit Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World, The Kingdom of Chrystal, Linnés Råshult, and Huseby Bruk. Welcome to this delightful holiday home!

We enjoyed our stay overall, The location next to the lake was lovely, and the nearby hiking trails were a plus, We had some minor issues with the Wi-Fi but the host was quick to help, The place is spacious enough for five people without feeling cramped,

The large living and dining room was very invitingly designed, The view of the church, the lake, and the individual beautiful Swedish houses pleased us very much, The kitchen equipment also met our expectations, Shopping in Lammhult (about 8 km away) was also fine for us 😀
