The facilities were in good condition; there are several restaurants to choose from for dinner, and Mike's Coffee & Tea is quite cozy. We also appreciated the service provided by the personal concierge assigned to us through our Booking reservation.
Definitely the lack of variety at the buffet; it was practically the same every day—breakfast and lunch. The staff seemed tired or overwhelmed with work because they weren’t very attentive (though some were friendly); there were tables that weren’t set, there were no spoons available at the dining tables, and I definitely don’t recommend the Italian restaurant.... And even though you might want to soak up some sun, the sun is too strong in that area, and there’s nowhere to take cover while walking around the grounds: it needs vegetation to provide shade.

We had a wonderful experience at Ocean El Faro. The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the staff made our stay very enjoyable.
We were there celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and they helped make it an amazing and truly memorable experience for her. We especially loved the lazy river, nightly shows, and entertainment, which added so much fun to our vacation.
A special thank you to Carlos Enrique, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and always willing to assist. Carlos truly went above and beyond and is a great asset to the Ocean El Faro team.
10/10 experience! I would definitely recommend Ocean El Faro to families and anyone looking for a fun and memorable vacation. We look forward to returning!
Would have preferred a traditional iron and iron board rather than a steamer or at least have the option to choose but that was minor

It was pretty
Everything closer early , pool closed at 7, which I think is ridiculous for a resort . Certain restaurants were closed on certain days . Can only eat at a restaurant once . One of the pools was under construction . The maid throw away my personal belongings
