Situated in Bethany Beach, this lovely condo for $225 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Luxury 1BR apartment overlooking Garfield Parkway with side views to the ocean. Bethany bandstand and beach are right down the stairs. Pool, fireplace, elevator. Shops and restaurants all within a short walk. Building completed August 2009. 1 parking space. This is the only apartment in the Blue Surf Condominium complex. Walk to the beach, the bandstand, or downtown Bethany right outside your door. Enjoy the private pool deck with side views of the ocean.

This unit had ants that the owner ignored until I told her I bought disinfectant the she had sent some garbage bags and a box of Raid ant traps!
Furniture is worn out and sagging

This space is the perfect spot for a Bethany Beach Stay! Right on the beach, walking distance to all restaurants, clean, big enough for 4!

The perfect place to stay for two people. Being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops and being right on the beach was an excellent advantage. You can park the car and never take it out until you leave.
You do have to walk through the bedroom to get to the only bathroom so I wouldn’t stay here unless there are only two people or a family with young children. The unit is bigger and brighter than the pics. It has everything you need. Beach chairs and an umbrella and plenty of towels.
The only drawback to staying on the boardwalk is delivery and garbage trucks making noise early in the mornings. If you’d like to sleep in bring earplugs. Other than that we had a great stay and would definitely return.

Very much enjoyed our week in Bethany Beach. The condo is located right in the middle of the town Square. Access to the beach, restaurants and shops is just a few steps.
I must also add that it may have been the cleanest unit we've stayed in going on 40 years. Would definitely stay again !

The rental was great. This was our 5th trip to Bethany, and this unit was our favorite. Location was perfect, the unit was clean, and had everything we needed. Extra hooks or shelves in the bathroom would be helpful, otherwise no suggestions for improvement. Looking forward to returning.

A couple of very small complaints: I went for a vacation with a friend, but we both had work to do, and for the first 3 days the wifi didn't work. The owner finally replaced the router on the 3rd day, but by then we had missed important meetings and that was stressful. Also the refrigerator has a weird little door flap that you have to get just right or it doesn't quite close all the way. We called the owner's dad about this (the owner had left the country on a trip by then), but got no answer, and by the time we figured it out on our own everything in the freezer had thawed and the ice had melted into a single block. However, the bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable, the apartment was super comfortable, the balcony looking over the town center was very entertaining, the pool was lovely, the kitchen had everything you could need, and the beach, boardwalk and yummy restaurants are RIGHT THERE. I would stay there again, but would try to communicate in advance about specific needs, like wifi. All in all, I give it a big thumbs up!

Our biggest problem was that when we arrived at 6pm, 4 hours later than our scheduled check in time, our property was locked and we couldn’t get in. We called the property manager who said the maid hadn’t come to clean it and we would have to wait another hour and a half for her to come clean. It was very disappointing after a long drive. And we had already eaten dinner on the way and all of the local shops were already closed. So there wasn’t much to do but wait. I was hopeful they might have offered some sort of discount for our trouble or at least let us have a later check out on our last day, but they did not.
Our stay after that was nice enough. It’s a nice, quiet property in a great location. I wish there were more outlets by the bed to be able to plug in my phone and CPAP machine. But I managed. I also would’ve liked more storage space in the bathroom…. Like a shelf or a medicine cabinet for all our toiletries. And a way to hang out hand towel by the bathroom sink would’ve been nice too. These are all just details I’m including in case the property manager reads this review. They didn’t detract that much, but they would’ve been nice touches.
