Nestled in Nassau, this attractive house for $425 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 2 storey single family dwelling. The house has three bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms and a private study. The amenities:modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer , dryer. The master bedroom and second bedroom both have king size beds. The 3rd bedroom have a queen size bed. All bedrooms and the study have flat screen televisions. The family room has a large 60" television. The house is close to the main west Bay Street and about 10 minutes from downtown and is centrally located to Atlantis paradise island and the cable beach strip.

Wonderful property for families! Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, big dining room table for eating, nice TV seating area. Big plus is wonderful swimming pool. Our two grandkids really enjoyed the pool. Very nice landscaping all around the property. Other plus is close proximity (2 minute walk) to Saunders beach, one of the top beaches on the island. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but families in particular.

Ray and Sonja are super hosts! We had traveled across the US on a red eye and when we arrived were treated to some real coconut đ„„ water with a splash of fun to get our vacation going! The house s everything it says it is! All 4 bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and tons of space. Ray and Sonja always replied quickly with any questions or needs! The pool was very clean and well maintained! The grounds are beautiful and extremely safe! Saunders and Goodmans beach just a short walk away. Thank you đ so much for allowing us to stay in your amazing home! We had so much fun and will be back! Thanks again for recommending Cherylâs Taxi - we so enjoyed their service! We did not rent a car - Taxiâs only to get around the island! It was a vacation we wonât forget!

Outstanding hosts with a beautiful home! Home was very well stocked. Lush fantastic and very well maintained landscaping! Neighborhood was safe. We went on morning and evening walks most days. Very very short walk to the beach where we were able to view evening sunsets. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We would definitely recommend renting a car if feasible as it allows greater opportunity to explore many of the wonderful beaches!

We enjoyed our stay at Ray and Sonya's. The pictures and reviews gave us a good idea of what to expect and we were not disappointed. We rented a car which we found was convenient for getting groceries and exploring. Driving on the "wrong side" of the road became easy after a couple days. We found a great food store on the West side of the island, Solomon's Fresh Market, and it was worth the drive. Overall we are happy with our stay here.

We were a family of 6 adults and one infant under 2 years old. Our stay at Sonja and Raymond's house was great. After reading the other guests' reviews I can confirm that they are indeed great hosts. They both went out of their ways to accommodate us. The house was more than spacious; everybody found their favourite spots, be it at the pool or in one of the living rooms.
The house is very secure and we always felt safe.
Thank you Sonja and Raymond for making our family vacation one to remember forever.

The house was just as photographs show, plenty of room for 5 adults. Location was great for us, not far from downtown and 5 min walk to beach. Raymond and Sonja were great, they arranged taxis to and from the airport for us and Sonja was there to greet us when we arrived and when we departed.

The property was very spacious, well equipped and exactly as described on the website. Ray & Sonja are excellent hosts, being willing to go the extra yards and always available.
The pool was a good size and regularly serviced. The location is good with the local beach (Saunders Beach) being an easy 5 minute stroll away.
If you don't have a car, the local bus service will take you into Nassau or Cable Beach for $1.25 pp. Sonja put us onto Cheryls Taxis for our airport pickup and I would have no hesitation is endorsing their recommendation. ($51 each way)
For grocery deliveries we used InstaGopher. Thy offered a reliable time specific service but I would just add, as with all things on The Bahamas, they are not cheap.

The house, the pool and the property were everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful house with a well maintained yard and pool. The pictures were an accurate portrayal of the house; we were so happy with our decision to rent this property for our vacation. Sonja, Ray and Juanita were all fabulous hosts. We would definitely recommend this property and canât imagine a better way to stay in the Bahamas!!

We had a wonderful stay, and Sonia was a terrific host. The house is in a residential neighborhood, just a minute away from Saunders Beach. Goodman's Bay is a 20-minute walk in one direction, and the Fish Fry about the same in the other. The house was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely garden. The pool was terrific! We rented a car, and found getting around the island very easy. But you can also take the buses up and down Bay Street during the day.

The pool is wonderful and we used it daily. The house is immaculate and the yard is gorgeous with lots of palm trees and very lush plantings. We also felt super safe with locked gates plenty of outside lights and a security alarm. It is a 2-3 min walk to Saunders beach. I would definitely recommend renting a car to go to grocery store and downtown Nassau for shops. Itâs about a 15 min drive to paradise island and cabbage beach. 15 min from airport. Sonja and Juanita are wonderful and super helpful with anything you need and where to go in the area. I would highly recommend this house. We will definitely be back!

Our Family Vacation

This property was perfect for my family of 4. The house is HUGE, the grounds positively immaculate, the pool is large with a lovely veranda, speedy wifi, large jacuzzi tub. Just as important is location. The property is located midway between downtown Nassau and Paradise Island and the western half which is more residential. Rent a car and explore the whole island easily! It's very safe...almost too safe (it was formally used by the U.S. embassy so there are a lot of advanced security features. A lovely quiet public beach is across the street. The owners are super helpful and responsive and very kind without being obtrusive. In short, this is the ultimate property (especially during Covid) if you want all the benefits of a high end hotel without the crowds and traffic, and the ability to actually experience the whole island beyond generic tourist centers. Make sure to book a charter to the other islands. It was a highlight for us to go snorkeling and enjoy the other beaches; the whole area is so gorgeous and the people are lovely. Go go go!

Awesome Vacation in the Bahamas
Our hosts Sonya and Ray were great people. Always available and responsive to our needs. The house was beautiful and exactly what was represented in the pictures. They arranged transportation for us and even a visit to the grocery store so we could stick the house for the week! We will be back next year and stay with them again đ

We are a family of 4 and loved this property. The pool is lovely and the house is very well equipped. Sonja and Ray are very friendly, helpful hosts and the house is located in an area that is a short drive to lovely restaurants and beautiful beaches. The local beach (Saunders Beach) has shower and toilet facilities and would be even better if it had a food option. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the house. We rented a car and used it every day to eat at restaurants and visit beaches. Our favourite was The Blue Sail which is opposite the entrance to Sandyport. We went to Cabbage Beach, which is on Paradise Island, several times. Gorgeous white sand beach with turquoise waters and no crowds! There is a fabulous âsnackâ place which was very reasonable. We found the food shops expensive so be aware that everything is imported which means higher prices.
We also went to âTiki Bikini Hutâ which is on the main road in to the capital if you are coming from Saunders Beach. The staff made us feel so welcome and gave us little extras like some mozzarella sticks for my son who wanted some but we didnât want a whole order. Their coconut shrimp was delicious and if you visit anywhere, you must try the conch fritters. When we went back for a second visit they had remembered our names and what we had ordered. The little things make a big difference.
We went on a speedboat tour to swim with pigs which was one of the highlights. We are all scuba divers and we were disappointed with the cost (just over $200 per person for a 2 tank dive) and there was not a lot of marine life.
We felt very safe and everyone was wearing face masks. The curfew was lowered to 9 pm during our stay but we just made sure we were in a restaurant by 7pm latest to enjoy an evening meal.
If you are looking for a lovely base for your holiday then this house is brilliant. Everything you need to enjoy a day in the pool and cook at home - including a bbq and close to amenities.
They have a fantastic table with 4 stools that is perfect for games nights. We spent many hours playing Rummikub after dinner.
If we go back to The Bahamas we will definitely stay at this house again!

Mrs. Sonya was the best! So sweet and very helpful! She helped us figure out excursions, rental car, and even took us to the grocery store before our car was delivered. The house is beautiful and spacious!!! You won't be disappointed.
