This is a hard one to rate. The owner is lovely (he made us a nice little snack on arrival) but we specifically chose this place for its view of the Isle of Capri. However the view was obscured by an olive tree. It could have been slightly trimmed to retain the view but it wasn’t and we were never informed until we arrived. That was disappointing but we adjusted. The house is also down a very narrow road (as wide as a Fiat Panda in some parts with 1cm to spare on either side with side mirrors folded). We ended up parking 100m away at the church after surviving our first return trip down this road after arrival. The owner was nice and dropped us and our luggage at the car when we left. The location surrounds are enjoyable to walk around - very rustic - with the only nearby food option just a lovely little home style pizzeria about 500m away.

Not accessible by average sized car (the drive to and from is a bit challenging for regular drivers). Poor Wifi.

Luigi was friendly and accommodating. He welcomed us with homemade calzone and wine when we arrived, which was really lovely.

Unfortunately, there was no view. Large trees right at the balcony blocked any view of the gulf. Location was far from shops, and beaches, and Amalfi coast was difficult to easily access. Very difficult to get to the property due to very skinny streets.

The host welcomed us hospitably with a small breakfast. Quiet and peaceful place with perfect view if the huge olive tree does not block the view.

There were no mosquito nets on the doors and windows (and there are many mosquitoes there). The view of the island of Capri is obscured by a huge olive tree that is literally in front of the terrace. The host did not mention at check-in that the village has a water regime, which stops around 6-7 pm. We were horrified when we came at the place at 10 pm after a long walk in Sorrento to find that we had no water to shower. Personally, the beds were not very comfortable for me. The shower cabin was too narrow for 182 cm tall and 95 weigh kg person. The quality of wi-fi was very bad.

When booking, Bookings. com created the impression that the unit had a washing machine which was not the case. There were a machine available on the premises.

Roads in the area are very narrow. Confusion is possible.

Beds were very comfortable. Balcony with a gorgeous view of the sea and olive trees.
