Great location for Chinatown and perfect for a 2 day stay. Good AC unit, helpful staff with any questions we had. Felt very safe in the area and staff on the door 24/7 was a plus. Clean bathroom and comfy large beds. Would have liked to have tried the breakfast but coffee shop in the hotel was ideal although slightly expensive.

Great location with many great food and drink places nearby. Nothing fancy but a solid night's stay!
Toiletries should be better quality, and should include conditioner.

I chose this hotel over another which was cheaper and similar distance from a MRT or BTS mainly because of the facilities such as a shower room I could use before going to the airport after check out. No complaints there. The staff were great. It has a relaxed vibe about it on the ground floor and in the lounge/gym/pool table area on the second floor. That's where the good points end.
It is about 700-800m from the nearest MRT, so not all that convenient although I was aware of that.
But the room... it was a disappointment.
1. Drab grey colour scheme, 11' ceiling with lights which do not provide enough light where brightness is needed. Floor is Terrazzo, which makes it look like a 1950's school storeroom. Uninviting!
2. The room has metal conduit all over the walls and ceilings, no electricals within the walls anywhere in the hotel. I measured about 44m in my room.
3. Double bed with 2 single duvet covers... which is as useless as giving someone a towel or handkerchief cut in half. Unacceptable.
4. Light comes under the door, and noise is easily heard when others open or close their door.
5. But the big prize goes to the shower. The water is hot and the pressure is good. But it is very difficult to get the right temp mix as the pressure keeps changing the volume of hot or cold, particularly when not using taps turned on full. The taps must have been designed by the Irish, the hot and cold turn on in opposite directions which is very confusing. Many times I turned both off and started again. The best I could achieve was with the water turned on more than needed, but when I went to step out of the skinny shower the bath mat was soaking and half the bathroom floor was flooded. Either from splashing out over the hob or the shower recess overflowing around the end of the hob where there is a gap. Then I hit my head on the towel rail when walking out of the bathroom. Good thing I was only staying one night!!!
